The Love Flag Have you ever known God embracing you Song of Solomon 2:4 “ He brought me to the banqueting house, and this banner over me was love.” That’s the house of wine. So, the Bridegroom is taking the Bride to the banqueting house. It’s a closer fellowship. That’s what God does today. He has brought us to the banqueting house. He has a banner for us- a banner of the king. What is written on the flag? Love. This is the age of love not just an ordinary love. We have to love our enemies. Love will bear the pricks of thorns; love will make us forget the world. “Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples; for I am sick of love.” The Bride has become sick of love. So what happens? He takes her to the banqueting house and shows His love secretly; and she has become sick of love, too much of love.
