5. Get the peace and be a blessing for your country
1 We should know about God. No
one has seen God at any time. God is a Spirit. And He is everywhere in this universe. And He permeates everything in this world.
So we cannot say God is in this place - for the Spirit. But God wanted to
reveal His nature to humanity. For
that only in the beginning God created the ‘Great Purusha’ - that is, ‘Supreme
Being’.
2 Nobody can see electricity. It
is already existing from the beginning. Without electricity the planets cannot
stand together. But you cannot enjoy that without a transformer. Transformer
means, contains the heavy current and passes out only what is necessary - that
is transformer! Then, you have the tube-light, fan and refrigerator - so we
enjoy in different ways.
3 A man who knows about
electricity will not worship a refrigerator or a fan. People who do not know
about the current will worship the tube-light and refrigerator and everything,
that that is the thing which is producing all these things. That is why we must
have a clear idea about God. So it is said: You must worship God in Spirit and
Truth.
4 Gandhi was telling about truth.
'Truth' doesn't mean, telling the truth. How do we know that a man is telling
the truth? Today in the courts, they promise on the holy books and say: “I say
the truth, this is the truth”, but in the courts they tell all kinds of lies.
People say, they believe in God, but still they go on telling lies. So what is
truth? It is told that we must worship God in spirit and truth. To worship God
in the spirit, you must have the spirit.
5 And what is Truth? Whatever
coming from the mouth of the Parama Purusha, that is Truth! And who is this
Parama Purusha? He is like a transformer. He is the only one made, to contain
all the power of God in the spirit. The unseen God we cannot see, but the
Parama Purusha we can see! He is one whom the Hindus call ‘Narayana’, the
Christians call ‘Christ Jesus’ and the Muslims say ‘Allah’. He is going to come
as a future Judge for the whole world.
6 And very soon we are going into
the Dharma Yuga1. People are thinking, there is no hope for
this world; but there is hope!
7 And who is this Parama Purusha?
This has been kept secret by God for so many years. He has the form of a human
being. When we are all in sin and in this five senses, this Parama Purusha - He
alone has eternal life and no death. And no one can kill Him! And He has power
to give His life to human beings and then take it back. So like that He comes
as an avatar - giving spirit to an human being and does His work, and after
that He removes the spirit and he dies.
8 But the Parama Purusha, no one
can kill. He alone has eternal life. And He has to reveal the unseen God's
nature. That is why this avatars come, to show the true character of the unseen
Spirit. So that is why we are able to understand what kind of God we have. If a
man touches Him, he gets the life. And He is the one having life. That life is
the light of men. And that great eternal life cannot be seen by any shadow or
any screen. That is why scientists can never find where life comes from.
9 With the character of God,
people made God a common name; that is, ‘beautiful’, ‘wonderful’... Like that
they gave names to God. If you tell the Christians, they will say, “Hindus are
idol worshippers.” But I'll tell you one thing today, God - our Creator told not
to worship anything from - in heaven or earth and the sea, and form of any
creature. But the Hindus are worshipping ‘thathuvams’2, that is, the character of God! Shivalingam3 is not a
creature. Ganapathy is a ‘thathuvam’. That is why, they cannot come under
condemnation.
10 But today, the Christians are the
idol worshippers. Because they are worshipping human beings and all these
things. That is why they come under condemnation. Wherever I go, they are the
people who create trouble in our meetings. But as a servant of God, I must tell
the Truth.
11 Today in the whole world, there
is confusion. Every man tells: “Will the world be destroyed?” But the world may
be burnt, but its system will not be destroyed. But you must understand, God
cannot tolerate sin in this world.
12 I was in Jaipur, preaching to
these Rajputs4 and
all these people. As I was praying to one man,... He is a big officer, he had a
devil attack, so as I touched him, the spirit left him and the light came into
him. And he shouted, “You are God.” He shouted, “You are God.” I said, “I am a
man.” - “No, no, no, I am seeing God in you!” Then I said, “Who are you? You
are a Rajput?” - “Yes.” And immediately I went to the R.S.S.5. The leader there came to our meeting and got the
peace.
13 Today people think that R.S.S. is
against a religion. But you must understand, we have to be a blessing for the
Indian people, not to convert them from one religion to another religion. You
have to show them the light. That is why I studied all religions and come to
you with the Truth today.
14 And God sent me to India. Whether
you like it or not, I'll go on telling the Truth. And the Truth will set you
free. Many people will say - for their own benefit and tummy, they will just
talk about these meetings lightly, as if they are great people. Are you sincere
to follow God? You can overcome death in this generation.
15 In the beginning when man was
created, they were eating only fruits. Many people do not know the secret of
the vegetarian diet. Today many Americans and many of the British people, they
are only eating vegetable diet for long life. And what do the people today
think? They can just eat anything! But many people are dying at the age of
forty, fifty, like that - heart attack! When people have been living for
thousand years - one man, and five hundred years, it came little and little and
little, and two hundred years ago, they were able to live hundred and fifty
years. Now they can live only up to fifty years. What's the matter with all
this science?
16 Originally they were not eating
meat. When man left God, he began eating all the animals and everything. Then
they started eating the unclean animals.
17 In America, many people are dying
of cancer because they eat pig meat. So people do not know.... They can eat,
but they do not know the result. If you have piles trouble or heart trouble,
come to vegetarian diet, your heart trouble will go away.
18 I am a pure vegetarian today. I
am feeling healthier now than before. Because, one day I had a revelation that
God's life is in every animal and every creature, I have no right to kill
anything. That is my belief! But we must know clearly about God.
19 Today, we have many gods. But are
you sure that ‘god’ can answer your prayers? The Spirit of God is called shakthi.
And there are this shakthi worship like Durga6 and Kaali7, like that. But whatever you worship, if you are
sincere to find God, you will find Him.
20 When I had no peace, I was in the
jungles of Ceylon, putting on a saffron robe, growing beard like a Brahmachari8. I was going on in the hills and meditating, in
search of peace. One day, a great peace came into me, my karma left me. I asked
the Christians, they don't have that. I asked many religious people, they don't
have that peace.
21 At that time, my wife and I were
working in the Vellore Medical college hospital. There, the Lord met me there
and spoke to me. He said: “Leave your job and serve me. I have blessed your
right hand.” And from that day, we have been travelling, travelling, bringing
blessings to the people.
22 I want every one of you to get
the peace and be a blessing to your country. If you get this life, you will
throw out all the unwanted things and be true to God. This is not conversion.
Don't blame me that I am converting you.
23 Sri Narayana came into my life.
So when I touch you, a peace comes. That is not my peace, it's Sri Narayana's
peace. So when you get the peace, you'll know who is inside. When that power
came into me, I was not living for myself. (Break
in recording.)
24 If a man says ‘darling’ and
‘dear’ to his wife, and goes to a strange woman in the night and comes, that is
not true love. If you love God, you'll love Him with all your heart and all
your soul and all your body. So when you come in touch with God,.....
25 My wife and I completely serve
Him, left everything. And forty five years, we have been bringing blessings to
many people in India and other countries. But in 1969, that was an experience
of Narayana coming in. That is to save the Indian people.
26 You do not know what the other
countries are trying to attempt on India. It is an attempt to destroy all the
Hindus. But today I want to tell you, that Narayana loves you. Are you not
happy for that? When the whole world thinks of destroying you, if God loves you,
that must make you happy. What for? To protect you from this terrible
destruction.
27 So He doesn't come empty handed.
He is powerful, with all the power He has come down. So whether you are a woman
or a man, if you are attached to Narayana, you need not go through anybody.
That's a sin! If you turn your heart straight to Him, your love will strike
Him. And you'll never be forgotten of Him. It is only by love you can touch
Him. Then His love will pull you to Him. If God's love doesn't pull you to Him,
there is something wrong with your love.
28 I don't care who you are, if you
are trying to bring disruption in a spiritual meeting, God is not in you. I
don't care who you are, if you bring confusion in a meeting like this, God is
not in you. Because I didn't come here to collect your money and go. I want to
bring you a blessing with the power God gave to my life.
29 God can do anything. All things
are possible! You may say your child's leg is twisted. It may be beyond
science. Early morning you'll see, that child's leg has become all right, or
even right here. Why I am telling this? With God all things are possible. And
He loves you.
30 Now suppose you have got a small
child, if he is sick,... You must understand, a cow cannot be brought, but if
you bring the calf, the cow will come behind. A cow will not come behind you,
but you bring the calf, the cow will come behind you. But if you don't turn to
God, God will catch your small child and then through that child you will come
to God. You can go to a doctor and give an injection and all, but that won't be
final.
31 One day in Trivandrum bus stand,
a woman was dying of cancer in the hospital. She had only one week to live. But
she was brought to the bus stand. So I told her, “Why are you hating your
mother-in-law?” And the woman said, “I cannot forgive, even if I die.” Then
after explaining to her, she said, “All right, I will forgive my
mother-in-law.” Immediately the power of God fell on her, and the cancer came
out through the womb. Little hatred in you brings you a disease. That is why,
early morning you must get up and worship God.
32 God has given everything free to
us - the sun light, the moon light, the star light, the water, rain, free air.
But we never thank that Creator. That's the greatest sin! Not what is going
into your mouth make you sin but what is coming from your heart. Some
Christians say: “If you take beeda9, if
you just have something - drinks or something like that, you go to hell.” Or
smoking - “He is going to hell.” Worse than that is what is coming from your
heart - jealousy, pride, anger. All these things will defile you. That is the
thing which will kill you.
33 So today, I am giving you a mass
prayer. Tomorrow I'll pray individually. This mass prayer is very powerful.
When I give that blessing, you take it and go and you will see that right on
the way you'll be healed.
34 In Madras when I had a meeting, I
had about one lakh people. At that place, great blessing came. Because, if you
believe God by faith, He had to bless you while you are standing. Because, God
is not a God for short distance, God is also the God for far distance.
35 One day there was a lady in
London. She fell on the ice and broke her spine and was a crippled for thirteen
years. I was in America - about six thousand miles away. She wrote a letter. It
came to me late. When I got that letter, I was on the road of Philadelphia. So
I prayed: “God, heal her right there in London.” She got up and walked. And she
wrote to me that she is completely healed.
36 So think about your loved ones
far away, God can heal you there. And put all your problems before Him. And I
will call on God in His name, to bless you. And you see the blessing in your
life. That day in the mass prayer, one man was prayed and he was healed, he
came running home and said, “Brother, that very moment my sickness left me.” So
I am going to pray for you a mass prayer today. Don't get angry with me, but
I'll pray for you tomorrow very nicely.
37 This is free for all! And the
message is free! If you get a blessing, you can write your name and address and
put it in the box for us to continue to pray for you. But don't miss the last
four days. There will be great blessings in those days. I hoped to have my
three children here. They will give you wonderful messages. And I will be
starting my life story from tomorrow. At the end, I'll give you how to overcome
death.
38 This body we live is controlled
by the five senses. And in this body we have a spirit which is not controlled
by the five senses. There is always a battle between our body and the spirit
inside. And for that, Sri Narayana has given a remedy for that. But we don't
take it. I took that one day, and today I am having such a great blessing.
39 So I am going to pray for you.
Every one stand up in your place and tell this prayer after me. And when I
pray, close your eyes and tell this prayer after me.
40 ‘Our loving Creator!’ You tell
this after me. Loudly you tell! ‘Our loving Creator, we as one family come to
you today. We are burdened by our karma. We thank You for coming down to save
us in this generation. We promise you today that we will love You as our
Creator. We will not give our homage and worship to any creature. We promise to
love you. We will not join any foreign religion. We will not join foreign
religion like Christianity. Please give us peace. Heal our bodies. Solve our
problems. Heal our loved ones far away. We are Your people. We have come here
for Your blessings. Forgive us for not loving You all these days. Touch our
lives today! In Your name we ask You.’
41 Every eye closed! Every eye
closed! Think about God. When I pray, the power of God will descend on you and
it will bless you.
42 In the new name of God, I command
all the sickness to get out of the bodies! Every demon power, every witchcraft,
I destroy in Your new name! Heal them Lord! Heal them Lord!! Heal them Lord!!
Fill them with the power of God! Fill them with the Spirit of God! O Spirit of
God, come into their bodies!! Solve all their problems! Heal their leprosy!
Heal their cancer! Heal, every incurable disease - get out of their bodies!
Fill them with the Spirit of God! Heal them Lord! Heal them Lord!! Heal them,
our Lord!! In Your new name, Amen.

- A person who practises brahmacharya - Purity of life, esp. regarding sexual
matters.
