Message given by Gurudev Shri Lahari Krishna in Bhilai. Day 4

4. You can overcome death in this generation

All glory and honour to our Creator who permeates the whole universe. You just heard Bro. Somasankaram speak to you. He is a man well versed in Sanskrit and all, and he was working in Bhilai. He will be here for three days and he will be giving to you more from the Vedas and Bhagavad Gita.

You know, every man has got a heart. And we have to allow God to enter into that heart. He is standing at the door and knocking at your heart. Unless you open the heart, He cannot come in. First of all, you must know who is knocking at the door. Then you must see, why you are delaying opening the door. And you open your heart, you get the blessings of God. We are so immersed in the things of this world, we don't give time to God, to think about Him.

When I was a small boy, my idea was to become a big man in this world. But I never knew that I didn't have the light of God in my heart. Our heart is like a bulb without a current. We try to polish the bulb without the current. But when the current comes, the heart is full of light.

Yesterday we gave a mass prayer. I know many people would have been healed even far away. So we musn't be healed in the body, but we must be healed in our soul also.

You know, God has forgiven so many things in our life. And it is our duty to forgive other people, for the love of God in our lives. If you have hatred in your life, that may produce cancer in your life. Those days I used to hate people. When God touched my life, I knew that I was able to love people.

I could have lived today in America and other countries, enjoying my life with my children. But what joy I have received, I want to give it to the people of India.

What people can't understand is - if I say that, ‘Christ’ is God, the whole Christianity will support me. If I say ‘Bismillah’ and say ‘Allah’, the whole Muslim world will be supporting me. If I say ‘Narayana’, the whole Hinduism will support me. But when I say, “God is one; He loves all of us”, everybody will hate us. But God is in none of these denominations; but God is in a place where there is love.

In the time of Lord Krishna, Arjuna's guru Drona was in the opposite side. He was with the Duryodhana's. When Arjuna saw them, he simply fainted and said, “My people are there in the opposite side.” But at the end, those who were with Krishna survived, the others were killed.

I have not come here to convert you to another religion. I have not come to preach another religion. I don't belong to a religion. I am sent by God with the message for this generation. You may say, “What about the other Avatars?”

When God came down on moon-landing day, all the kings fell. So I am giving six months time for all these religious kings. You have enjoyed with the religion, all right. But now I have come to seek the real people. (Break in recording.)

I am not asking you to change your names. I only want to tell you, worship the Creator and not the creature. Suppose you are a father, if your child takes a dog and tells, “O my daddy”, how much it will pain your heart! In the same way, God is hurt by our not worshipping Him. So it's a curse when you worship the creatures.

So I am telling the people of India: Worship the Creator! Then there will be plenty of rain in your country, and then there will be plenty of blessings in your country! And it is no use fighting in the name of religion. And today we find, many people have been killed and homeless in the name of religion. Many worse things are going to happen in this country and all over the world. But let us wake up to worship our Creator, not be deceived by the people.

Everybody wants to become a leader. But they have no call on their lives. I didn't come here just leaving the job. The Lord told me, “Leave the job and serve the people.” My wife and I were working in the Vellore hospital in a very big job.

Today people just think that this is a good business and jump into that, and then they call, ‘O, they are called by God’. And they twist the message of God to suit their own tummy. But what God said in Bhagavad Gita and all these things, in the Bible and all, it will come to pass.

Sri Buddha said, “All is because of this lust.” But he did not give a remedy to take that lust. That is the important thing.

We can overcome these five senses without any trouble. It is like crossing a river - you can cross the river of rebirth by your own effort or get into the boat and then start the engine and cross it easily.

What I am telling is: ‘You can overcome death in this generation!’ You can become hundred percent holy. And you can be sinless without any effort. That, no Christianity can give you. It is revealed only recently. And we know that anybody who believes the message which we give, will go in glory without death. Try to get our books and read it.

But why I have come here is, when I touch you, you get the peace. The Christians will say: “Come to Jesus; change your name; take baptism”, and all kinds of rituals. But God has come to you to give you a blessing. If you are sick in body, you search your heart. Feel sorry for your.... (Break in recording.)

....That is the power of Narayana or Christ Jesus. And that is life. And when you get up, don't think tomorrow, right there you have the peace. You'll be changed into a different man or a woman. You don't have to give any money for that.

We have not come here to collect money from you. Because, this is the ministry of God who never collects money. These forty five years, God has been leading us marvellously. I travelled around the world nine times, and without any help from anybody, and God has been providing me.

So you trust God. You need not worry about anything. Don't take your problems on your head. When you get into the bus, you don't carry your suitcase on your head. Seek God and everything will be added unto you.

If you go to buy potatoes - one kilo, he will put one or two extras without value. You don't take the two extras and give back the one kilo. These two are extras only for buying that one kilo. If you seek God, everything will be added unto you. But if you don't want God, He will pluck even these extras.

One man is walking on the road with a big bag on his head. A man in the cart said, “Why don't you get on my cart?” He got into the cart and had the bag still on the head. So the cart man said, “Why are you carrying that in your head still?” - “Because I think that your cart will - it is difficult for to carry me, how can it carry my luggage also?” Then he said, “You fool, my cart can carry you and your potatoes.” We believe God, but we carry our problems.

For forty five years, my problems are all put in the hands of God. If suppose you have ten thousand rupees, you can't sleep in the night if you have it on your chest. Put it in the bank, then you can sleep.

Put yourselves in the hand of God. Surrender your life totally to God. Make a determination that you will be true to Him, that you will worship Him, not anything created by Him. Then when I bless you, your sickness will go away very quickly.

So I am going to pray for you today. If anybody wants to contact us, you can write your name and address and put in those boxes. I want every one of you to sit down; those of you who want to pray only come through the line, others keep sitting. God bless you. Another thing I want to tell you. Everybody is free to come here for prayer. I don't want anybody to block anybody coming. Everybody sit down.

FOUR TYPES OF BHAKTAS

God Part Three FOUR TYPES OF BHAKTAS As per Bhagawad Gita, there are four types of Devotees who seek God. Bhagawad Gita mentions about four types of Bhaktas in chapter 7: 16-18 “Four types of devotees of noble deeds worship Me, Arjuna, the seeker after worldly possessions, the afflicted, the seeker of knowledge, and the man of wisdom (one who has known God, and starts loving Him with all his Heart), O best of Bharatas. (16) Of these the best is the man of wisdom, ever established in identity with Me and possessed of exclusive devotion. For I am extremely dear to the wise man (who knows me in reality), and he is extremely dear to Me. (17) Indeed all these are noble, but the man of wisdom is My very self; such is My view. For such a devotee, who has his mind and intellect merged in Me, is firmly established in Me alone, the highest goal. (18)” So the Lord loves only those who know Him and Loves Him in reality. Hence in order to receive the love of the Lord, it is ...

Sign post. In English.

When you go to meet a person at his house You can find out the right path to reach his place by looking at the  signpost there. If you go in the direction of the signpost you can find the person's house and talk to him. But if you don't do that, if you circle around that signpost, you won't be able to go where you need to go and meet that person. Prophets like Saibaba, Vallalar, Ramchandarjee, Muthukutty Sami, Veerab Brahm, etc. are like that signpost. We have to follow their path and know the "True God". Without doing it, if you follow these prophets as gods and go around them, you will never reach the real God.
