Messages given by Gurudev Shri Lahari Krishna in Bhilai. Day one

1. HAVE YOU EVER THANKED GOD?

Everybody wants to think in his own way, that God will come in his own thinking.

These are days when there is the fight among Avatars. But if God has sent somebody God has to vindicate and fight for him. But God has to come according to the books which He has written through the prophets. Then only we can believe it. Because, His books - God's books will never tell a lie.

And today, with the power of God, you can get the shanthi1 which people cannot get these days, without going to jungles and yogappiasm. Bhagavad Gita says: “Thousand people may do yoga, only a rare one will get the peace.” (Bhagavad Gita Chapter VII, verse 3.) But today everybody does yogic exercises and say they don't have peace. The peace can come only from God.

In my travel round the world, I found out the good people are very poor and bad people very rich. So all over the world, there is inequality and injustice - there is inequality and no justice. But every religious books say: ‘There is going to be a dharma yuga, or millennium, or good age.’

I also found out, for the sake of money, a man will tell any kind of lie. He will even sell his god. Another thing - if you preach the truth from the Vedas and books, you have no place in any religion.

Many people, they don't realize that there is an evil power also, that can possess man's body. And they do so many things which they don't want to do.

This is an age when science is improving; and spiritually we are also increasing. And we also see in the Vedas and books or holy books, that God created this world by His mouth - by the Word. If He can create the world by His word, He can destroy the world also by His word.

If you see Bhagavad Gita, Arjuna was asking Sri Krishna to show His primal form. (Bhagavad Gita chapter XI, verses 45 - 54.) Then He showed His terrible form. Then he asked again to show His kingly form. Then His gentle form. That gentle form was not Sri Krishna's form. But the Hindus mistakenly think that that was Krishna's form, but that was not Sri Krishna's form. Because, Krishna was standing there. That was the gentle form OF THE KALKI MAHA AVATAR - the millennium King, as well as the destroyer of the world.

So if we think that there is only one God, we have no other option but to love our brethren. But this love, only God can pour into our lives. So today, we tell you that the great Light is available today.

God has to give him peace unconditionally.

OVERCOMING DEATH

In these days, God knows who are His people. He has come for your protection. Man has been dying and dying, dying, so he always thinks death as a friend. We must think whether we were created to die in the beginning. If God is eternal, how can He create a being which is not eternal?

Many people, when they die, they preserve their bodies for three thousand years. I saw a mummy, three thousand years old, in London. It's a beautiful girl. And there was a small bottle containing the tears of that family. It is evaporated and gone; but that bottle is there. All these people buried their bodies with the hope that one day they will get their body back. Was man created like that in the beginning?

We are put in a body which is of five senses. But if you go on in these five senses, we have to die. If you can control the five senses, then you can attain perfection.

The great Buddha found out, the cause is the ‘desire’. But he never gave the medicine for that. I can always say, the reason is desire. But have your overcome? Many people tried to control the five senses and they failed. If you fail, that doesn't mean that there is no hope.

One day typhoid had no hope. There was no medicine found out. Many of my friends died of typhoid. When chloromycetin was found out, it was easy to overcome typhoid. If man could have strong hope, why can't we have strong hope for overcoming death?

THANKING GOD

Now see, God gave sun, the moon, stars, air to breathe and nice rain. Does He charge any money for that? But you see the religion, everywhere they cry for money, money, money, when God is giving everything free. They behave as if without money God will die. But God gives everything free.

If you don’t get one little breath properly, you die. Have you ever thanked God for that? When He has given so many things free to you, you never respect the giver of that.

Suppose a man gives you a job, you say, “Thank you, thank you”; he gives a lift in the car, you say, “Thank you, thank you”; but did you ever thank God for what He has given free to you? That's the greatest sin of man, and you have made your heart dark. That's why all these desires, everything came into him. And when a man starts thanking God for all these free gifts, he has come one step higher spiritually.

So I want you to meditate on the free gift of God in your life and go on thanking Him. You may be a Hindu, or a Muslim, or a Christian, or you may not have any God, or you an atheist, but if you don't have peace, I'll bless you and you see, you'll get the peace. You may be a very bad man; you may be a drunkard, you may be put out in society, you are my friend. You come and get that peace and go; what a change it will bring! These meetings are not for very good people - for only bad people and very bad people.

God wants us to be healthy and prosper in this life. God never sends sickness to man. God is a good God. He wants your love. Won't you come to Him and see? He wants thanks from you, for all what He has done for you. He wants recognition for all these things which He has done for you and for a nice life He has given you.

FOUR TYPES OF BHAKTAS

God Part Three FOUR TYPES OF BHAKTAS As per Bhagawad Gita, there are four types of Devotees who seek God. Bhagawad Gita mentions about four types of Bhaktas in chapter 7: 16-18 “Four types of devotees of noble deeds worship Me, Arjuna, the seeker after worldly possessions, the afflicted, the seeker of knowledge, and the man of wisdom (one who has known God, and starts loving Him with all his Heart), O best of Bharatas. (16) Of these the best is the man of wisdom, ever established in identity with Me and possessed of exclusive devotion. For I am extremely dear to the wise man (who knows me in reality), and he is extremely dear to Me. (17) Indeed all these are noble, but the man of wisdom is My very self; such is My view. For such a devotee, who has his mind and intellect merged in Me, is firmly established in Me alone, the highest goal. (18)” So the Lord loves only those who know Him and Loves Him in reality. Hence in order to receive the love of the Lord, it is ...

Sign post. In English.

When you go to meet a person at his house You can find out the right path to reach his place by looking at the  signpost there. If you go in the direction of the signpost you can find the person's house and talk to him. But if you don't do that, if you circle around that signpost, you won't be able to go where you need to go and meet that person. Prophets like Saibaba, Vallalar, Ramchandarjee, Muthukutty Sami, Veerab Brahm, etc. are like that signpost. We have to follow their path and know the "True God". Without doing it, if you follow these prophets as gods and go around them, you will never reach the real God.
