8. The sacrifice of the great Brahaspathi
1 There are only three days more.
In one of these three days I will pray individually. So I want you all to come
on these three days and listen to the message.
2 Many people think that Bhagavad
Gita was a message, or talk by Shri Krishna to Arjuna. But before that, this
Bhagavad Gita was told to Manu1. So,
that is long before, that was expressed to Manu. But He was expressing to
Arjuna, why he should fight.
3 Now if God has given all the
truth to all the people, there is no need for God. Suppose I am a boxer or a
wrestler, I teach my students - I won't teach everything. God has told so many
things through the Avatars. But we must know through the Vedas and through the
Books what God really means.
4 Man will change everything
according to his own convenience. And he even will change the Vedas and all
according to his own convenience. But I am reading to you some portions from
the Vedas, which will shock you that people have misunderstood certain things
in the Vedas.
5 Even great people who are in
India, they didn't know the real meaning of the Vedas. I am telling this,
because the Spirit of God in me has revealed these things. It is not to
criticize other people; and this is the truth, because Shri Narayana Himself
will know the real meaning of the Vedas. In this world we have come towards the
last days.
6 You know, in the time of the
Mahabharatha war, actually it was a nuclear war. It was not with bows and
arrows. Even previously there had been so many inventions.
7 Now we have got many inventions
to destroy the world. Every country is confused now. And they do not know how
to stop a war. If a war comes and a bomb falls, we will be all powder. That is
why I want you all to think seriously. Formerly... if there is a Hitler's war,
it was only in Germany. If it was a Napoleon's war, it was only in Russia. Now
no one will escape a war. If a war comes in India, even a man in the jungle
will be affected.
8 So we have to rise up in our
thinking. What has gone wrong with our people? We talk about God. We do so many
yagams2.
9 You know, when the nine planets
came together, they were pouring ghee and doing so many yagnas3. And the priests made them believe, that this yagnas
will prevent danger. But we must know the real secret of this sacrifice.
10 What is sacrifice? Why should you
give sacrifice? Now sacrifice means, that is: Something is dying for you. And
there is a Omagundam4 of
fire. It is not just pouring ghee. If you see the olden ages sacrifice or
yagas, animals were put and burnt. Aswamedha Yagam5 - to get the
blessings of God. Not just pouring ghee! That only came recently.
11 First of all we must know about
God. In Rig Veda, 121, first verse, also in Yajur Veda and Adharva Veda. “What
God shall we adore with our oblations - offerings? The divine being who existed
in the beginning, who was the one Lord of creation, who wished and approved
this earth and the sky.”
12 Again in Rig Veda 121, two, also
in Yajur Veda and Adharva Veda. “What God shall we adore with our oblations?
Him who is the bestower of life and vigour, whose commandment all cosmic forces
obey, Him whose shadow is immortality as well as death. The shadow of that God
is either immortality or death.”
13 In Sama Veda, 372 verse. “Come
together ye all with power of spirit, to the Lord of heaven, who is only one,
the guest of the people; He the ancient, desires to come to the new, to Him all
path ways turn. Verily He is one?”
14 Then Rig Veda, 82:3, also in
Yajur Veda and Adharva Veda. “Our Father, our Creator, our disposer, who
knoweth all positions, all things existing, who is the only one, bearing names
of different Gods, Him, other beings seek with questioning. God is one. Gods
are differently named ideas of the one being.
15 Now we come to the Supreme
Sacrifice. The supreme Person, He chose death, for the sake of gods. Those
days, the kings were called ‘gods’. And this should not revile the King who is
our God, nor speak bad about Him; but no king is supposed to be worshipped.
16 So he is telling: “He chose death
for the sake of gods. For men's sake He chose not immortality. They made a
sacrifice of Brahaspathi.” That's in Rig Veda 12:8.
17 The Sacrifice - you know, they
didn't know the meaning of this sacrifice. They thought, because God
sacrificed, that they also must sacrifice their lives. That is why the Hindus
lost all the blessings. Who cares for man's sacrifice? Can you bring blessings
to God by your sacrifice - filled with all karma? But we think by our sacrifice
we can please God.
18 Now, atonement for sins. Yajur
Veda 8:13. “Oh, God, thou art atonement of sin against God. Thou art atonement
of sin against men. Thou art atonement of sin against the fathers. Thou art
atonement of sin against myself. Thou art atonement of every sort of sin. Of
all the sin that I have committed knowingly, and I have committed unknowingly.
Thou art my atonement.”
19 About immortality. “Bless me!
Paramana - that name. In that deathless, undying world, where there is
everlasting lustre; wherein the light of heaven is set, make me immortal there.
Where joys and transports, happiness and delights exist; where the best of
desires are fulfilled.”
20 Now this Supreme Sacrifice, it is
also told in Bhagavad Gita. So we have to study all books. I am not partial to
any book. I have studied Koran, I have studied Bhagavad Gita; I have studied
Bhagavatham; I have studied Vedas and also the Bible thoroughly. And I find
now, so many things clarify very easily.
21 What is sacrifice? What is
Omagundam? In that Omagundam, there is fire. So the priest had to be - he must
leave everything. Nobody who did not leave anything can be a priest.
22 Those days, for a sacrifice, a
sinner brings a lamb. And that, a sinner only must kill. It dies for him. So
sacrifice means, there must be a priest, there must be a sinner, there must be
a lamb or an animal, and there must be a fire, and after killing that animal,
it must be burnt in the fire. That is the meaning of sacrifice. Not just
pouring ghee.
23 Today, people have lost the
blessings. You may put tons of tons of ghee, you cannot accomplish that.
Because, we must know what's the reason for that. Many people say, our karma
can be taken away by our devotion to God. How can you devote yourself to God,
in this world with the five senses? It is, if you go two inches above, it pulls
six inches down!
24 Buddha says: “Everything is
because of these desires of the five senses.” But did he give the medicine for
you? No!
25 Today, everybody talks
philosophy. “We must lead a good life; we must do yogic exercise.” But Bhagavad
Gita says, “If thousand people do yoga, only one rare one will get the peace.”
Then this people - why are the people doing all these, when we have a easy way?
When I can touch my nose like this, why should I bring my hand like this and
touch?
26 So we have to study what a
sacrifice is. Shri Narayana is a great being, but it is a form of a man. So God
in His foreknowledge,....
27 If you want to get a revelation
about God, I don't care how you are. You must humble down and ask God to give a
revelation. It is not given to you because you are a big man, or a good
preacher, or a great man.
28 Today they say, “Maithreya6 should come.”
Maithreya - that's a Person. “He has to come.” Bible says: “Christ has to
come.” - “And Shri Krishna has to come.”
29 But you must understand, when you
take the Bible, God has promised from the beginning to Abraham, to Isaac, to
Jacob, and to David, that out of his own body He will raise up Christ, who will
be immortal. That is the promise in the Bible.
30 In the household of God - family
of God, there are so many families. There are servants, there are brothers,
sisters, and there is a husband, his wife, and there are so many people put
together, it makes a family. There are friends. So all the people move in that
family. There is no fight there. The friends come, the brothers come, sisters
come, brother's wife comes, they all move together.
31 There are fights: So we must
understand, who the Muslims are, who the Christians are, who the Hindus are.
Then only you won't fight. In the name of religion, thousands of Hindus,
Muslims, all are killed. In the name of religion, Christians and Muslims were
killed in the Crusade war. If God cannot protect our religion, why should
people fight? God is there, then He can protect His own religion. Because there
is no God in your religion, there is fighting. If God is there, He will protect
your religion. That is why God is not in a religion today.
32 So this sacrifice, what I am
trying to tell you,.... In the beginning, that Supreme Being, whom we call
Narayana - Narayana means, came from water. He didn't come through the human
sex. He was able to take a glorious form, as well as a human form. That is why,
this Christ, He has to come in the David's line. So the Jews are waiting for
that. And Bible has said, that the Judah tribe will rule till Shiloh comes. So
you can't shake the West till that Person comes. That is the last Avatar.
33 And today, we have to understand
the sacrifice. Now in heaven there is no death. Narayana cannot die. He is
eternal and immortal. And nobody can kill Him. He has His own form. His form is
Christ's form. I don't mean the Krishna who died in this world. I am telling
about the great Krishna, who cannot die. This Avatar is the Spirit which comes
into the people, to do the work of the great Narayana. And that Spirit will do
the work and finish it and then go. That is the Avatar. So, so many people came
into this world as Avatars. But, you must understand, for man's karma, the
great Parama Purusha did the sacrifice first.
34 What does the book say? “He did
that sacrifice. He chose death. Who is immortal, He chose death, for the sake
of gods and kings.” For men's sake He chose not immortality, He died. So here
you can understand, this great sacrifice, Shri Narayana could not die, but He
died for us. If He died for us, why should you die? That is the great thing.
35 Now see, there was a man who had
two children, who were twins. And one was a good fellow, one was very bad
fellow. Father, at the time of the death, he said: “Brother, take care of the
bad fellow.” And he died. One day the bad fellow killed a man with the knife.
He came running to the brother. “Brother, I killed a man.” So he took his
shirt, banian, everything and wore on himself - all full of blood. And he put
his shirt in there and made him go into the room. The Police came. Saw him with
the blood marked dress. They took him. And because of the evidence, they said,
“You are the man who killed.” And he was supposed to be hanged.
36 So he wrote a letter to his
brother. “I am dying for you. So from today onwards you lead a good life.” And
that day, he was hanged. This letter went to the brother. He took the letter
and went to the police. “I killed that man; I am the murderer!” And the police
said: “One person must be killed. No case has two punishments. For that murder
one man is killed. We don't care for you. You are a free man. Even though you
are a murderer, you are a free man.” The death of that brother - that good man,
makes this murderer free. That is how our karma can go!
37 That is why we lost all the
blessings in this country! Simply pouring ghee will not bless you. That
Narayana, He died for you! He did the sacrifice for you! The sacrifice will not
raise up. The sacrifice will be burnt.
By that death, we all get life! So long as you don't take that sacrifice, there
won't be any life in you! You die like the normal man.
38 Because, I am not revealing this
to you. Shri Narayana came to my heart and He is revealing these secrets. He
only knows the secret of Bhagavad Gita! He only knows the secret of Vedas!
39 I challenge the whole world, I
challenge all India, all the Hindus, whether sacrifice means pouring ghee.
“No!” That is why you don't get any blessings! I have not come to convert your
religion. I want my country to be blessed by God! So this is the only hope for
you! Our Narayana can never fight for you, till you take that sacrifice! You
don't fight. The Hindus need not fight!
40 Ahimsa is not 'getting kicking
from the Western people'. That is not Ahimsa. That is the coward ahimsa. I don't
believe that. Ahimsa is - we keep quiet, our Narayana will fight! All His
armies will fight and destroy this world! That is why He has come down with the
fighting force! That is not this world force! He can destroy the whole world by
His mouth.
41 I have come down with that
destructive force! Don't be deceived because I am just like an old man! This is
only to take the people for God. After that is finished, when He shows His
destructive form, there is no hope for anybody coming!
42 So I call all the loyal Hindu
people. I don't want you to come to my religion. I don't have a religion. I
have not come to collect money. I want to open your eyes. This sacrifice of the
great Brahaspathi, in the beginning He sacrificed Himself. That is why He says:
“All blessings in the world come only through that sacrifice.”
43 In olden days, sacrifice was not
by ghee. Without blood shed there was no remission of sins. Your karma will not
go without somebody, something dying for you! Don't be deceived!
44 So Narayana came. He came as
Gandhi. All the spirit came like that to enlighten us. The Muslims, they have
Bakrid for that. That is sacrifice. This came from the original Bible. Veda
also tells that. But the present day preachers, present day Bhagavad Gita
experts, why they don't tell that? Because they are afraid they will become
Christians!
45 We don't want Christianity. We
don't want British Christianity. I am not a Christian. But we want that
sacrifice! We throw away that Christianity, we don't want it!! That is why I
make you vow that I will not become a Christian - that is the vow I make.
46 Our goodness doesn't bring
blessings to us. Because, however we may try, we all are failing God. Tell me a
man who has overcome anger. They will look like Sadhus, you go near and tell
and fool them, they'll say: “I'll kill you.” But they will do pranayam9 like a saint. I
have seen many people. You go and make them angry, they will be tigers. With
all your yoga, you can never overcome anger. Can your yoga overcome sex? Tell a
yogi to go in-front of a girl. There are no saints like that.
47 Brother and Sister, don't deceive
yourself. By your efforts you cannot control these five senses! I was a yogi
for five years. I can cheat the other ones, but I know what I did. Other people
call you as a great yogi. If God can see your heart, everybody will run away.
Then how can you overcome sex and all these five senses? You have to take that
sacrifice! And then you don't believe in your holiness. Then you get the
righteousness of God. Your self-righteousness, God doesn't want it.
48 I went to America. Many of the
American people - you know, they wanted to do Sirasasanam7. You know what they did? They'll make a cot... Cot
means bed. They'll lie down on the bed.8 They'll tie.
That man is about three hundred pounds. He lies down and tells his servants to
make the cot walk. He says: “I am doing sirasasanam.” Then he brings back again
the cot. “Oh, I am doing yoga.” This is sirasasanam? Sirasasanam, your head
must be on the floor, not on the cot.
49 So, many people today, they
believe in yoga, but they have not stopped their sins. But Shri Krishna says:
“If you, by yoga, don't touch the five sense objects, then only you can attain
me.” Tell me a yogi who has overcome that. You try that. I fasted forty days,
drinking water. Again I fasted twenty five days. And for nearly fourteen years,
I eat one meal a day. But overcoming the desire is not easy. For that only you
need the Spirit of God. They don't have the Spirit of God, you don't get it by
Yoga.
50 That is why, because God loves
the Hindus, He told me, “You don't convert them to any religion; I am Narayana
come into you; you go to them, and touch them and bless them, and they'll know
who you are.” That is why I was praying for you. So that you will leave all
these false things and follow Shri Narayana in this age.
51 For telling the Christians, I am
Christ for them. And if you follow, in this world war, you won't die, you will
overcome death. Because Shri Narayana died for you. Then I don't die. That is
sacrifice. If one person dies for you, you overcome death - not taking
Kayakalpam.
52 That is why today, the Hindu
religion, omitted that sacrifice and tells: “You must sacrifice to God your
life.” Who cares for your bad life - that sacrifice? Who cares for that
sacrifice? I'll say: “I'll sacrifice to God.” He doesn't want your sacrifice.
He came down, died for you, so that you will have life.
53 The Christians also do not know
the secret. He says: “He died and rose again.” How can a sacrifice die and rise
again? When sacrifice dies and it is burnt, you don't see it again. So one
person in this world, who is that royal line - for Him Christ dies, and He
comes to life. And everybody who follows Him, they overcome death in this
generation.
54 That is why today, I am coming
preaching this to you. I don't care who gets angry. My sheep will hear my
voice. May God open your understanding. Let us get up. Tell this prayer after
me. Everybody get up please. God in love calls you today. (The Song ‘God calls you’ is played by the Orchestra.) Tell these
words after me: Our creator - Every body sincerely tell this. I am not catching
you to some place.
55 I want you to get these
blessings. And I want your sickness to be healed. When the light comes in, this
darkness will go away. And Narayana is light. If He comes into you, and by
believing His messenger, immediately something powerful happens in your life.
56 I'll pray for you one day, before
these three days. But today, it is a mass prayer. If you pray for one person,
if God hears, if ten thousand people are here, that one prayer can heal the ten
thousand.
57 If you want to meet somebody
tomorrow, I won't say: “I'll come tomorrow.” I'll say, “I'll come near tomorrow
at the Railway station, at nine o' clock.” Then I can meet you. In the same
way, you believe that when I pray, asking God to bless you, that's the time for
you to open your heart and get the blessings and go. Then you will yourself
know, that you can overcome death. Because the light which comes to you, is the
Spirit of the Lord, which is life. Then you won't worry for anything. You won't
worry for nuclear attack.
58 My loving Creator, we as Indians
come to You. We are divided and scattered. We want to unite under You. We
believe that You died for us. In the Vedas You tell that. Our people have been
pouring ghee and thinking that it was their sacrifice. Now we believe that You
died for us. So we know we can't die any more. We are sick in body.
59 And we promise You today, that we
will not worship any creature, or anything made by man, because our Narayana
has come. We don't want to do any puja10 to other things. We will not join any
Christian religion, or any foreign religion. We will seek You everyday. And we
confess all our sins and karma. Please forgive us. We promise to serve You all
our life, till we go in glory without death.
60 Close your eyes. Keep your right
hand on the sick part of your body. Don't keep on looking. Think about God. Any
sickness, God can heal. Any request God can answer. He is above everybody. And
think about your loved ones far away. Put all your problems before God. And He
will grant you today.
61 In the name of God, in the name
of our Creator, in the new name of our God, I command all the sickness to get
out of the bodies! Every demon power and every witchcraft I break that in the
name of God! Heal them Lord! Every sickness get away! Every twisted limb come
to normal!
62 In the new name of God, which You
have revealed to us, I command blessings on all the people here! Let the Spirit
of God be poured on the people! Let everybody get shanthi today! Let them go
happily! Solve all their problems! Heal all their sickness! Heal them Lord!
Heal them Lord! Heal them Lord!! Fill them Lord with the power of God!!
