Eluru - Day 1
(Message given at a public open air meeting)
1 ....In one way it's true. I don't belong to the Christianity brought by the British Government, teaching us to be slaves for other people. But Jesus never taught such religion. He said, ‘If you believe the truth you will be free.’ Now the people, when they tell the truth, they are afraid of the truth. So they are like - more or less, all this religious people are like under a slavery.
2 Then I started - I studied other religious books also. Studied Puranas1, Vedas, and I was a Yogi2 for five years in Ceylon. I was sometime in saffron robe even. I didn't want to marry. So I was going from place to place seeking for the truth.
3 Today many Christians are seeking for the worldly things. Many people go to temples only just to satisfy their five senses. And what is the hope of India tomorrow? Is India going to depend on only elections, or India going to depend on the true God? Is India having power against atomic bombs? Should India prepare atomic bombs also like other countries?
4 In India, many countries have attacked this country. Muslims attacked it, and they were ruling us. And many people became Muslims. Poor people who didn't have the money, they thought, ‘Becoming Muslims will be very useful for them’. Then suddenly the British Government came. And many people became Christians because they had lot of convenience and lot of helps from the Christian people.
5 So many people went to America and other places, they studied well and brought lot of money joining some religion there. They went to America and gave a bad picture about India. They said, ‘The Indian people are dying of starvation. They are going on the road naked.’ That is what the picture the people gave about India. But being a national man I was against that. I was a true Indian. I fought against the British Government under Gandhi. So, the many people in America wanted to give me large sums of money to make me one of their man. But I couldn't get peace.
6 I studied Bible, Koran, Bhagavad Gita and all the Ramakrishna Paramahamsa books, Swamy Vivekanandha books, Aurobindho Ghosh books, Ramana Maharishi books and so many other books. And I knew that God is moving in every place in a different way. But I couldn't explain to people about God. You go to Jews, they will say 'Jehovah'; you go to Muslims, they will say 'Allah'; you go to Christians, they will say 'Christ'; you go to Hindus, one will say, 'Muruga',3 one man will say 'Venkateshwara',4 one man will say 'Eashwara'.5 And I didn't know which God is correct. Because everybody talks about something great happened in.... among that god. Then people say Krishna, Rama. They are all Indian people. Even Jesus was from Asia.
7 Today when you say 'Jesus', people in India revolt. But Jesus doesn't belong to the Western people. He also was 'Asia Jothi', to say, He was a black man. The Western people stole our God to their country. So as I was studying this, I found out that India has a great heritage. Our culture is great. Then why do people take other culture which is worse than our culture?
8 We have to find God in this generation. And everywhere people talk about Avatars. In India alone there are about eighty Avatars now. Every state there is an avatar. Now every chief minister is an avatar. And everybody who has a small religion, he calls himself 'avatar'. But my friend: Krishna came, that is true. You can sing about him. But today, that same Krishna is not living today. Who is going to...
9 Now today we are in a terrible position. God loves us. One side they are having atomic bombs. In North they are having atomic bombs. All over - talking about control of weapons. Do you mean to say, God is a fool? Who created you and me, will be afraid of this atomic bombs?
10 You know, there is one big atomic bomb today. If the Lord opens His mouth, the whole India will be destroyed. That is truth! Because you can't - when the Creator is with us, what can man do? But we are afraid. ‘What will happen to India?’
11 Today in India, we have got many books. Sahaj Marg - nearly eight crores of people following that. Brahma Kumaris in Rajasthan. Many people follow that. Veera Brahman, he has written something; Bharathiar has written something; Muthukutty Swamy has written something; Tagore has written something.
12 And our national anthem is not an national anthem: ‘God save our motherland or fatherland.’ But India's national anthem is different. ‘He in whose hands the destiny of India is, to Him be victory.’ It is singing victory to that Person who holds the destiny of India! Many people in India have seen by vision what is going to happen to India. India is Punya Bhoomi.6 Why? We are blessed because, God at the end time to bring Dharma Yuga He comes down. That is why this country is a 'Punya Bhoomi'.
13 So today, many people say, 'I belong to Allah group; I belong to Krishna group....' But I will tell you today: There is only one God. That God is everywhere. We must have a clear conception about God today. Then many people will be happy today. These divisions - state divisions, language divisions, community difference, colour difference is not made by God. It is of the devil. If we are divided like this, God can never bless us.
14 Today man must realise where he has failed God. We are not seeking God because we are not powerful. Today everybody wants to be a minister, because he thinks there is power there. But I will tell you today, that the spiritual power is greater than all the worldly powers. But we do not know how to tap that power. We think that we can bring God by singing and shouting. You can't bring God by singing and bhajanas7 and all. For the ears it may sound nice. But you must seek Him according to God's word.
15 You must study other book also. If you study Bhagavad Gita, when Arjuna was there, Sri Krishna - He showed His Vishwaroopa. That is - His face was bright as a sun. That was not the form of Sri Krishna, the form of the One who was inside Sri Krishna. That was the Vishwaroopa.8 That same Vishwaroopa is for Jesus in Revelation. But what do the Christians say? They will tell, everything is a devil except them. You go and ask a Christian: ‘Everybody is a devil, we only are godly people.’ I say - I come against that talk. You can see more devils among Christians than in other religions. Because I have been in all the religions, I've travelled round the world eight times - practically every country, and I got attacked more among my own people, than from other religions.
16 I have not come here to convert you from one religion to another religion. I have not come to change your name from Subramaniam to John. Changing Subramaniam to John doesn't make anything! He will be the same devil there also, here also. Changing name is nothing. ‘Oh, your name is changed to John, so you are a good man!’ - Humbug!
17 I am talking to you Andhra people, as an Indian. I don't know Telugu. And I come here to talk to you in English because this language I travelled round the world telling everybody about God. And in Tamil Nadu I'll talk in Tamil. What will I do in Andhra? I can talk only in English. People say, ‘Oh, our country, we have to have a unity.’ How can unity come without God? If you have a touch of God, that will change your life.
18 Today, if you want to become a Christian, you have to pass through so many conditions. When I was under this confusion, I met many people; they used to chase me out: ‘Get away you rascal, you are a devil!’ But God was not calling me a 'devil'. And I had peace in my heart. But I wanted to have love. I couldn't find among the religious people. Everybody interested in collecting money!
19 Without money no religion can exist. Everywhere 'collection, collection, collection'. Without collection no religion. But for forty years, I have been travelling round the world without taking any collection; but God has been supplying all our needs. So I know, if any collection is there, God cannot be there.
20 Let us study the nature of God. Now see the sun, it is for everybody. The Americans can't say, ‘The sun is ours; it's American sun.’ Russia can't say, ‘The sun is Russian sun.’ Nobody can stop you from looking at the sun. Everybody is free to enjoy sun. You are not asked to give any money or sthothratcha9 for that. Nobody collects money to look at the sun. It is free. Rain is free. Breathing is free. You can breathe as much of air, nobody will ask you money. Salt is free. But what does man do? He will ask money from you for that. But God gives everything free.
21 If God gives everything free, then how can there be God if you charge anything for that. God doesn't say - ‘For Andhra people lot of rain; and Tamil people half rain; and Kerala people no rain’ - He doesn't tell that. He gives everybody. Such a great God we have. But man doesn't thank Him.
22 What's the greatest sin of man? Not thanking God for all His bounties. If you start praising and thanking God, God has already touched you. Get up in the morning - ‘Lord I thank You for the nice air You give.’ If a man gives you hundred rupees, you say, ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you!’ You mean to say God is worse than hundred rupees? If a man gives you a lift in the car, ‘Thank you sir, thank you sir, thank you, thank you, thank you!’ If he takes you in a rickshaw, ‘Thank you, thank you!’ But God - one breath stops, you die. You never thank Him.
23 My brother and sister, whoever you are, whatever religion you belong to, get up in the morning and thank Him! See the power will come in your life! Your sickness will go! All your diseases goes! The power of God comes into your life! That is where religion starts! Not - religion doesn't start in collecting money.
24 We have such a bountiful God. That God, I am telling about Him today. Not only that, we must know the nature of God, and every name is not the name of God. Now one man will say, 'Om Namachivaya'. We think, that is the name of God. No! 'Om' means, 'I Am'. 'I am', 'I am'. So you say - sit and say, ‘I am, I am, I am, I am, Om, Om, Om’, then you get some peace. 'Om' is not the name of God, it's a common name. Jehovah - that means, 'A self existent One'. Allah - ‘A strong tree’. What about Muruga? ‘Beautiful’. This is not the name of God.
25 The name of God means: He has kept that as a secret all along. Adhi Shankara knew that little name. If you know that name, dead people can rise up. Wherever the dead people are raised up, there, they must know the name of that God. Don't get angry with me. Because I want to lead you to God, not to my religion.
26 I believe in Christianity which came two thousand years ago through St. Thomas. One disciple of Jesus came and died in St. Thomas mount. He preached correct religion. The religion which we hear now is false. That was never preached by Christ.
27 I challenge every Christian today, you take your Bible and come, and I will prove that you are teaching wrong. If that is true, there won't be this fightings. There are so many divisions there. Now they are all joined together in the name of God, without God. We are not afraid of that union. Because we have God with us who can destroy all that. You may say, why I am telling this. We must understand God, then we will know how to get His blessings.
28 God is everywhere. The Spirit of God is everywhere. He is in the animals, He is in the birds, He is in the stone, He is in the air, all over. He knows you. You need not tell Him that you are bad fellow. Before you can tell who you are, He knows who you are. He knows from beginning to end. He knows who will be good and who will be here in the meetings.
29 That great God who has foreknowledge, He is a Spirit. That is why, ‘They that worship God, may worship Him in Spirit and Truth.’ If you don't have the Spirit of God, how can you worship Him? Come on! It is not beating a drum. It's not jumping and dancing. Even drinking people dance. Does it mean that they have God? You can just jump and do so many things. But have you the Spirit of God? That is why, if you don't have the Spirit, you can never know God. You may be a good bulb, you can polish it and clean it, but when the current touches only, the light comes. Without that current you cannot have light. Has your bulb been lit by God? There are many people in religion, but they have not known God.
30 Today I ask you all to seek God. That's the only hope of this country. Why I am telling this, in 1969, on moon landing day, one hour before that God came into my life. That is why Bible and other books opened to me. What I say is life for you! You may have many avatars, you may have so many good people, but you have only one Christ Jesus.
31 So today, I want to tell you something: In these four days' meetings, that you can find out God in this generation. You can't find God in any religion. But you can find God in truth. India - God has raised many people in India. Gandhiji came, he told about Ahimsa. Can Ahimsa win? Can Ahimsa win the whole world? I tell you that it is going to win the whole world and rule the world. But in Gandhi's time, the ‘Ahimsa-God’ did not come. But now, He has come to take control of the whole world. That is why in 1969, after moon landing day, every maharaja and kings had to lay down their thrones. After 1969 there is no king or queen with any power. Why? Because our God, the great King has already come down. And He is working through giving us the truth.
32 So what I am telling you, I am not blaming your religion. I want to tell you, that if you study all the books together, you find there is not wrong in the book, but wrong in you - wrong in your conception. Every man talks something - every man wants to talk something. But only the Spirit of God can give you the truth. So that unseen great God, wanted to express Himself.
33 Now what you call 'Narayana', it means, He came out of water. Then, ‘Logos’, ‘Word’, ‘Jehovah’, ‘Allah’, all mean the same thing. But what do the people say? When they say ‘Jehovah’, they think others are not God. These are all different names of God. Krishna came, did His work. Rama came and did His work. What can Rama do today?
34 Today God has to raise people. That is why, in these last days, great confusion exists all over the world. But God knows the situation of the world, so He comes down. In every age God comes down. Usually He sends an Avatar. But Avatar will have to die. But one Person can never die. ‘Narayana’ or the ‘Word’ or ‘Christ Jesus’ can never die. Why? This unseen God which is immortal, He has no death, to reveal Himself to us, He chose one Person among the human beings. That is why, when He created Him, He was created before there was one earth here, one moon there or sun here. So that the unseen God could live in Him, He gave Him deathlessness, He cleansed His life of sins. Because He has to come at the end time, that form He took for Himself. That is why He was called ‘First Born’. And through Him He created the whole world. And through Him He created every creature.
35 If you love God, if you love His Spirit, He is in every living being - even in a chicken, even in a bird. If God's life is in a bird you have no right to kill the bird, because God's life is there.
36 So when a man knows God, he'll automatically come to Jeeva karunyam.10 Why? God created that also. In India, we were all vegetarians before. But when the British came, they all started killing the lamb and chicken and everything, and having nicely, they spoilt most of the Indians. Now no Christian can live without meat. But you become a vegetarian and see, what a nice blessing it is! Mostly people die soon because of eating meat. If you eat vegetarian diet, you live longer life. ‘That’ is not a blessing for us. So religion starts, when you love every creature. You can talk about God and if you have no Jeeva Karunyam, I don't think what God you have. I am not talking like a Christian... (Side change.)
37 ...Whether you are a Christian or a Muslim, I don't want to make you a Christian. When I pray, believe that peace comes into you, to come into you. Because God has raised me for that purpose. When I pray you get the peace. Then you live happily with God.
38 So when God is so wonderful, have you ever tasted Him? Have you ever touched His life? Then what's the use of talking about God? My father also was talking about God. But he never had this experience. So one day I was talking to him. He said, 'Yes Paul, yes my son.' Then he got the peace.
39 When I was a small boy, they said, ‘The Holy Ghost is in everybody.’ I went to the important people. They never had realised that. Whether you are a young man, whether you are a young girl, God has no age limit. Even a boy of five years can get that peace. That peace will give you life. And that will give you peace. And it will be a wonderful life for you.
40 So this great God, early He selected a Man, and made Him immortal. And through His Word, He created everything. What His Word spoke, everything happened. What came out of His mouth was called truth. To worship God, you must worship God in spirit and in truth. Whatever came out of His mouth, can never be wrong, because He was talking by the Spirit of Truth.
41 So this Bible, Koran and all, was not just written by ordinary people. The Spirit of God came, they wrote something what the people should do. That is why it is called ‘Holy Koran’, ‘Holy Bible’. But having a Bible will not do any good for you. Some people keep the Bible to drive the devil out. When they bury anybody, they will put the Bible also and bury. When they are sick, they keep the Bible as a pillow. Satan is not afraid of that. He is afraid of a man who has the Spirit of God in him.
42 Many people do not understand that people can be possessed of the devils. Some man dies in the middle of the age, that spirit is roaming about all over the place. One man will sit and open his mouth - 'aah', it will get into him. And he will say, ‘Heart pain, pain in the stomach.’ You may go to the doctors, he will give injection, this and that, but 'stomach pain' won't go. Then you drive the devil out, he is all right. That will be spirit of a dead man. So these, accidents people die - accidents. Their spirit is roaming about. That can get into anybody.
43 One day I saw a spirit in a woman which was died sinking. And 'Ugh, ugh' - like that. Then she told, “I was killed by somebody.” One day a British lady had a devil. The devil said, ‘‘I am a Punjabi died in Thames river. She came near the river, so I got into her.’’ What do the people say? They will say, this... They don't realise that's an evil spirit. And when it is cast out they will become normal. So like that, when the Spirit of the Lord comes into a man, it gives him a special power. Miracles happen. That is why the Avatars did great things. But now we have come to the end of the age.
44 Jesus asked a question, ‘What do you think of Christ?’ Christ is a man, but He is asking, ‘What do you think of Christ?’ He is the Son of David. So God promised in the early days: That one human being, God will come into him at the end, He will bless him and through him all the people will be blessed. Now I am not come here to blame you, or tell that I am a great man.
45 Today, to make me appear great, I will put on a saffron robe, rudraksha,11 and walking like a saint, everybody will say I am a Sadhu.12 That is why I don't want to be like a sadhu. Because you don't find an Avatar by appearance. Because in that case, there are hundred Avatars in India. Bible says, ‘My sheep hear My voice.’ You can find out the Avatar only by the voice. If my voice touches your heart, if you are a sheep, you will be simply pulled, there is no problem for that.
46 Because you go to a sheep: You may dress like a shepherd and talk like a shepherd, no sheep will come to you. But when the real shepherd comes - 'hng', he will put a shout, they will just come. The sheep knows the voice of the shepherd. The creature will know the voice of his Creator. So how many Creators are there? When the real Creator comes, the creature will hear the voice.
47 So as I told you, in India, Muslims came. Many Hindus were not converted. And many - British came. They were ruling for about more than hundred and fifty years. Many Hindus were not converted. So what is wrong with this Hindus? They are the real stock. Why? Nothing could convert them. Because they are waiting only for the last Avatar. When that voice is heard by them, they will come running, throwing out every false things. That is why, in India, there are so many people.
48 India is a country full of people. All holy people. But today, they do not know what to do with their karma. They will say, ‘You must go through so many rebirths.’ But I want to ask you my friend, I am asking in love as an Indian, not as you enemy: “How do you know which birth you are in? Who can tell you about that?” I agree, we may have so many rebirths. But what are you going to do with that? When are you going to get rid of your karma? But in our religion, every religion we have a secret.
49 In India many people do not know, that when God scattered the Jews - Jehovah's people, they went all over the world. And you know, today you see, 'Subbiah, Ramiah, Venkatiah...' What is this ‘Ayyah’? They are the Jehovah's people. 'Jah' means Jehovah. So even though many centuries have past, their names were not gone. That is, suppose...
50 Now I go to America, I settle down there, certain town I will call with my name - Indian name. You go to Ceylon, many of the Indians who went there kept the Indian names there. So you can find out where the Indian people are there. Where the British people went, you can know it. Where the Dan people went, they went on naming, 'Din, Don, - London, Denmark...' like that, they were putting the name like that.
51 For your karma, Narayana has to come down. God has to come down and take the sin away. No - that karma can go by not your efforts. You may try and try; that cannot go, except God can take it. If He can take it, you are free.
52 Now listen, they say, ‘Jesus died for our sins’. If He died, why should you die? That means, you can overcome death. That's why Christians will say, ‘Jesus died for my sins.’ If He died for your sins, where is sin in you? But you do worse sins than before. Every time telling, ‘Jesus died for me, died for me, died for me.’ If He died for your sins, you can't sin any more. If He died for you, you can't die any more. And if He died for your sins, you are righteous. You are 100% pure, because God's life is in you. That is why when Jesus died,...
53 People say, Jesus came to India. What a great thing! He is an Easterner, He didn't come to learn anything from India. We have to learn from Him. But when He died, actually like, He died - really He died. But who rose again? One in the David's line came to life again. That's why after Calvary, they didn't see the same Jesus. Nobody could recognize Him - very clear! They wanted to kill all the disciples. So Judas is going there. And He is asking, “Whom are you seeking?” - “Jesus of Nazareth.” Everybody fall down. Again they got up, “Whom are you seeking?” - “Jesus of Nazareth.” Everybody fall down. Then He is telling, “If you seek Him, let this people go free. If you seek Me, let this people go free. If you seek Him, He will kill you.” So naturally the disciples were saved.
54 Jesus Himself, after resurrection, He was - there was another man. Mary could not recognize Him. The disciples could not recognize. And after that, He was this Person who came in that place. So God came down to take our karma away. That's the medicine for our karma. We don't want Christianity any more, but we need that medicine for us. When I took Him, my karma went away. I got peace. Not only that, today we are able to get a blessing for other people. So that is not Christianity which British preached. It is a remedy for sins.
55 Today we have everything in Hinduism. But we don't know to interpret that. Because in this 'yagam',13 it's a type of sacrifice. It is burnt to ashes. That sacrifice doesn't come to life again. But because of this sacrifice, we all get life. Our karma goes. That is why I said, Christianity is wrong. And today I can prove you from the Bible, that on moon landing day Jesus came into life - came into my life.
56 So today, if anybody believes that Jesus is in me, you get your karma go. I don't want to take you to Christianity. I am not boasting. I love you all. You are my country men. This is the only remedy for you. Come on, take your karma away, then we will see how God lifts our country! Our country is going to lead the whole world. These things today, these elections and everything, it will change. But God is come down for dharma yuga. No injustice will be happening any more.
57 ‘What will happen to Russia? Will Russia attack us? Will China attack us? Will America attack us?’ - Don't be afraid of that. We have God with us. If they come to attack, they will find their mistake. They will be wiped out from the map! Why I am telling this, I want my country people not to be afraid. Let us search our hearts. Let the karma get away from us. So long as karma remains you can never have peace. If you can get karma away by some other means, I don't worry. If you have karma, what is the remedy?
58 Now there is a river to cross. It says, seven rivers you have to cross. Suppose you are rowing the boat, you can cross it. But suppose I have an engine, I can start the engine and sit quietly, I can cross it. If you can take your karma by your efforts or yogappiasm,14 I don't mind it. Or you want to go to jungles? But if you can't do that, what are you going to do with your karma? Think seriously about it.
59 Our country becoming free - it came free, British went away. But still religious freedom we don't have. We are not free yet in religion. Every man talking about his religion. Nobody talks about God. Because they have not seen God. They have not had any personal experience with God. But if you touch Him today - if the power touches you today, if you open your heart, inviting Him as inviting a friend: “Come into my life, take my karma away!” you see whether karma will go away or not. That is why this four days meetings we have!
60 When I met this sister in America, she was driving the car very fast. So I told her, “Sister, I am a married man, you are driving very fast.” Then she came into this life. Today she is very happy. I have not joined any Western country. I have not sold my country to any money. Because I have love for you. Every Hindu, don't go become a Christian any more. God has come to you! He wants to touch you today! Be filled with that power! Let us pray. Everybody stand.
61 You know in this ministry, you may have disease, you may have sickness, you need not to have touching and prayer. Because, God's word is powerful, and when the word comes ‘You are healed’, believe it. Even in this ministry you will get new legs. You know, people don't believe that. But if this ministry is true, if really God has come into me, when I pray, believe that you will get new body, new eyes, new strength! And the peace can come into you. If you believe that I am telling the truth, that Jesus is in my life, you will get your karma go away!
62 So let us close our eyes. As I pray, put your hands on the sick part of your body. Think about the loved ones far away. If you have problems, anything, put before God. God is a loving God, He loves you. He wants you to be completely alright of all problems. When the solver of problems is here, why should you worry? So I am going to pray to God.
63 Loving Saviour, I pray that you will bless this people. In the new name which You have revealed to us, I command every sickness to get out of the bodies! All demon powers and every devil power get out of the bodies! Every witchcraft I break in the power of Jesus! Fill them with the Holy Ghost! Fill with Thy Spirit! Lord heal their bodies! Lord, bless their families, Lord. If their loved ones are far away, heal them Lord! Thank You for healing them. Thank You Jesus. In the New Name, Amen.

1 Hebrews 1st Chapter.
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
2 Praise be to the name of Jesus. From the portion we read now, we find that God is not a partial God, that at different times He talks in different ways to different people through the prophets. Sometimes every religion says that God talked only to them, but they do not acknowledge, God speaks to other people also. But if anybody seeks God diligently, God hears them.
3 God is not far away and His Spirit can touch everyone. But today we find, instead of worshipping God, they worship the creatures. That is the greatest sin of the country. We have to worship God, not His creatures. Because the creatures are made for us, to make us happy. God did mean that any one should worship the creatures.
4 I am not talking about - against any religion today. I wanted to make your understanding clear. Because today, when they see some light, they worship it. But the tube-light did not create us. Our whole life is controlled by this sun - 's-u-n'. Every man's life is controlled by this sun. Every year we say, ‘One year has finished’. And we say, ‘Our dying time - one year has become less’. So when you become about sixty, we talk, ‘Very soon I am going to die’. But today I am going to ask you: Who told you that you have become old? The sun told you, not God. Because we calculate time being in the earth. When the earth rotates three hundred and sixty five days, connecting with the sun, we say, ‘One year has finished’. Suppose you are not on the earth, or if you are in the sun itself, what is your age?
5 Now suppose you happen to stay in the sun, what is a year? We cannot calculate the time. Everybody has got a watch. Look at the watch, ‘It's 10 o' clock, I must go and sleep’. - ‘9 o' clock: Office time’. Then they run to the office. ‘Oh, 12 o' clock, I must get hungry’. Why should you get hungry at exactly 12 o' clock? So the sun is dictating terms to you. I also was like that. And then suddenly I thought, suppose you are able to stay in the sun, how can we calculate our years? So when I was travelling by the plane throughout the world, I found out that when it is evening here 6 o' clock, I go towards America, I find that I can go earlier. I would have travelled about 12 hours, but I will be going only at 2 o' clock in the afternoon. But if I go through Japan, it will become darker quickly. I lose many hours. So it all depends on where we stay. But spiritual people, they don't stay in the earth, but they stay in God.
6 And when a year ends, we think, ‘Oh, I am now fifty five; I must be old’. Then we walk slowly, all pains - because we are sixty. That is the greater thing - our thinking brings death to us. Because we become sun worshippers. But God never meant man to die. When God created man, He called him ‘Son of God’. If God is eternal, the Son of God also should be eternal. Death came because he touched the five senses.
7 Today every man thinks in the sense of five senses. That is why death comes to us. But if we don't think by way of five senses, and think by the Word of God, then you can overcome death in this generation. Because we do not have to die because we are old. When you are young we don't feel old. But as we calculate the years, we open our way for death.
8 Early days they didn't die so quickly as now. Now even at the age of twenty five, the fellow becomes old. Big medical doctors, they are all weak people today. And many people, at twenty five they become like eighty years people. Heart attack, diabetes... “What's your age?” - “Oh, I am only twenty five.” But because, they think this is natural. And even our eating kills us quickly. We always eat sugar, sugar and all like things, and only whatever the taste likes. But there are things which will give more life even though the taste is not good.
9 I had my grandfather who was living for hundred and thirty years. So one day I asked him, “Grandfather, your eyes are good, you are walking very much, and what is the secret of that?” He said, “I will get up early morning, worship God, walk many miles, and drink some ragi porridge, and in the afternoon, I eat some rice, and in the night I eat ragi porridge, so my hands are like iron.” So from that day, I knew that secret of long life is something our change in the food. Even our food, they don't have the vitamins; we take all the vitamins away. So naturally we get weaker and weaker. For that, God is not responsible. You drink a lot, then your body is destroyed, then you say, 'Oh God'. That 'God' did not do that, it is your carelessness. So many things we do which is not according to our health. If you do something according to the health, you will find God will bless you even in this earth.
10 Yesterday I was explaining to you about God. How to touch God? If God created us, He is our Father. But the Father can be caught by His promises. When my children were small, one boy came and told me, “Daddy, I want to go on an excursion.” I said, “What do you want?” - “I want hundred and fifty rupees.” I said, “Come tomorrow at 9 o' clock.” So I was praying in my room. My son brought all his friends, ‘9 o' clock I'll get you the money.’ I forgot about it. When it was 9 o' clock, he was banging at the door. I said, “What do you want?” - “It's 9 o' clock now.” - “What for 9 o' clock?” - “I want my money.” How did he get that faith? By believing my word! In the same way, if you know what God has promised, we can claim that as a Father.
11 Today when we get sickness, we always cry, ‘God has sent a sickness’. God is good. God is a good God. He loves everybody. He doesn't say, ‘I love only Christians, or only Muslims, or only Hindus’ - not like that. He has no difference of communities. He doesn't say, ‘I'll love only Andhra people and not the other states’. Every human being, He loves you. If you are a human being, you can claim the love of God. And as a Father, you must believe that He will never send any bad thing to you. God never sends sickness to you. Why? God doesn't send sickness to any man. God is a good God. He wants everybody to be healthy. He wants every disease to go.
12 Many people are possessed of demons. I didn't believe once that demons can touch people. I worked for five years in the Vellore Medical College Hospital. And the brain doctor will be there. And the brain doctor will say, for everything he will say, “I must cut your brain.” So I told him, “This lady is devil possessed, are you going to cut her brain also?” - “No Mr. Lawrie, that every brain trouble we have to cut the brain.” So I prayed for her. Immediately the devil left her. Then the doctor said, “I don't know, I don't believe in a devil, but the cause of this disease - aetiology is unknown.” I said, “That's a devil possession.”
13 So as I was working forty years in the ministry, I found out, if any man or woman not after God, devil comes into your life. If any man says, ‘There is no devil’, he is the greatest devil. It exists today. It gets into your body. It takes control of your body. It gives you fear in your body. It gives you nervousness in your body. But if you think that God has sent the sickness, you will not resist that sickness.
14 Now suppose you have got a daughter, somebody pulls the daughter and runs away, will you keep quiet or will your shout? Will you keep quiet? You will make a shout! Because you know that it is not God's will. In the same way, it is not the will of God for anybody to be sick today. If you are sick today, and you think God has sent you the sickness,... You have to have the resistance inside, “I don't - It is not the will of God to be sick any more.” Till you resist inside your body, the sickness cannot go. You may say, “What about the doctors?” Because doctors also, they inject and cause the sickness to go. If the sickness is the will of God, anybody attacking the sickness is against God. Even praying is against God. So it's the will of God for everybody to pray for against the sickness.
15 And we have got five senses. This will always say, 'Pain here, pain here', it will keep on telling. And very often: ‘Here pain, here pain’, it will say. But God's people can overcome that by faith. What is faith? Believing what God has promised and claiming that.
16 First of all we must know clearly about God. God is a Spirit. We are human beings. How can we have fellowship with God? A man cannot have fellowship with an ant. If I should have fellowship with ant, I must become an ant. So that unseen God is a Spirit, He is everywhere. He is in the stone, He is in the tree, He is in you, He is in the animals. There is no place where God is not there. But how do you know His nature? How do you know His love? It is easy to say, 'God is love'. But brother and sister, if you could know the love of God, you will run after Him like a mad fellow! Today we don't know the love of God! We think that God has been putting us into great difficulties.
17 See the world, whatever you need God has placed in this world. Everything is for us - for human beings. Because His love is there, He has given a climate also to suit us. Man can't live in the moon, but here he can live. So that God's love, He doesn't want us to perish. That is why, when God wanted to create people, in the beginning, He didn't chose an angel, He didn't chose an animal, He didn't chose anybody else, He chose a man! And for that man, He knew, one day man will fall, and he will be in sin. But in His love for man, He first created a Man. That is called ‘First Born’. Many people call it ‘Narayana’. The Jews call ‘Jehovah’ and the Muslims call ‘Allah’.
18 And that First Born, even though He was a Man, in His knowledge He found out one man in the human line, and in the David's line. That is why He called him ‘Christ’. Christ means anointed one. He is a human being, but before the world began, before there was one mountain, He created him and possessed Him. And through His mouth, He created everything. So He was inside Him - the unseen God was inside Him, and through the voice of that Person, He created every creature. And today, many people do not know that secret. I can have a thought. But when I speak, I give a form for my thought. That is why, all what you see is not eternal. What you don't see is eternal.
19 Today we are holding this earthly things as if it is eternal. Within hundred years nobody will be here. All you would have gone into eternity and another generation will come. Are you going to think that this world is a permanent place? No! You have to leave this world. This is a chatram.1 You don't do any work in a chatram.
20 In an Aerodrome you don't go there and plant a seed. You have to go to another place. So in this world, God has placed us here, not as a permanent thing. Because what we see today is not eternal. But God in His love, He wants to make us eternal. That is why He wants to put His Spirit in us. If you do not have the Spirit of God, you don't have eternal life. That is why, I am not against any religion. You may be... Whoever you are,... There are many Christians today, they talk about Jesus; they sing, music, they talk about Him, but I ask you my friends: Have you tasted God?! You may go to the temples. There are many places, they go year after year for eighteen steps. But after eighteen steps, still they don't find God. By that time they become old. Then they stop the search for God. So it is not who you are, whether you have touched God in your life! I can't believe my father's God. That won't satisfy me! You have to get satisfied! This, touching God will give you satisfaction!
21 When I was in Ceylon, I had to run for my life from India. Because the British government wanted to kill me. Because as a student leader, I was working for Congress, and the arrest warrant came. We did lot of damage, so I had to go to Ceylon. There I turned a Communist. Because I thought that is good for India. But my friends: Without God, nothing is good for you.
22 Today they think, nature is God. But the one who created nature is God. If you say, ‘Nature is God’, you are a miserable creature. So when I was in Communism, my wife and I, we wanted to serve the people as a Communist. That time I had no peace. No peace in my heart. I had full of sins. And at that time, one young man met me. He showed me the way to get peace. I was in a mountain meditating. Five years I was a yogi. As I was in my nishta2, suddenly, a light came, I saw Jesus there. My sins were gone. That doesn't mean I became a Christian. Knowing Jesus is not a Christian. ‘Christian’ means: Joining a Christian church - that is Christianity. Today the Christian religion have no God! If there is God, they would have found out who I am. Because in the time of Jesus, the religion killed Him. And that very religion killed Him.
23 Today there is no place for God in any religion. Because money is the important thing there. But we have to watch God. Bhagavad Gita says, ‘When wickedness and violence comes in this world, Krishna is to come’. People - Christians expect Jesus to come. But you must understand, when the seed is put under the ground, the seed dies; you don't see the seed again. Jesus said, ‘Unless a wheat falls into the ground and die, it cannot give fruit’. So Jesus was a seed. When He is put on the ground, He died. But people are expecting the same seed to come. That is why the Christianity has went wrong. Hundreds of seed comes. One seed gives birth to hundreds of seeds, just like the original. But the original seed you will never see again. Jesus said, ‘You will never see Me again’. But what do the Christians say today? ‘We are going to see Jesus, He is coming’. That Jesus will never come, till you say, ‘Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord’.
24 Now see: Jesus said, that one has to come in David's line. But Jesus was not born to David. She had no connections with any man. So that Person Jesus, a holy Child, cannot belong to David's line and come to the royal throne. Today the Christians say that He came in the David's line. These are things I challenge. Because these are the key things which made the people go astray. I didn't get this knowledge by myself. God who came down on moon landing day, He used to wake me up in the midnight, He will take me Bhagavad Gita, He will explain that. Then He will take all the books, ask me to read it. Then He will tell me the meaning. Then He asks me to take the Bible and tell the meaning. (Side change)
25 ...In this generation you will never die. Because Jesus said, ‘He that believeth in Me shall never die’. But the people say, ‘We are going to die’. Why? Because He took our death away. We don't want any religion today. But today the karma is there. How are you going to remove karma? If you are going to take seven births, it is all right. But have you done that? What birth you are in today? But whatever thing is, you have to get rid of your karma. You can't say, ‘I am a good man from today’. What about your past sins? What about your 'Genma paavam'?3 All these things: Karma paavam!4 These things will never go! Every sin what your forefathers committed will affect your family - family after - generation after generation. It can never go unless you confess it, and unless you come to God today. So that is why, these days, death came.
26 Everybody thinks that death is your friend. Everybody is preparing for death only. But Bible tells: The last enemy to be destroyed is death. If God created us like beasts, then we are miserable people. We have got a soul. God is not telling: ‘You are a Hindu soul, and Christian soul, and Muslim soul’. God speaks to you! Have you ever listened to His voice? If you meditate in your house, and ask for God to come to you, He will really appear to you. But what we do today? We take a religion of our choice and take away love from God.
27 What is religion? Taking our love from God and taking it to human. But if you depend on God, you can hear His voice. And then, that will be life for you. If you are sick today, if you listen to Him, suppose I touch you and pray, something happens to you. First of all, you must know who touches you. Secondly, if your body is having some demon attack,...
28 What you believe today? We don't believe like a postman even! We believe only what we see! That is why we die. We believe what we see. But see, faith is not that. A postman comes. He tells, ‘There is a money order for you’. You believe that. You have not seen the money. Then he'll say, ‘Sign it’. You don't say, ‘Give me the money first, I must see the money’. You sign it. How do you sign? ‘I have received’.
29 Like that, by believing, the water goes in. When you breathe - (Bro. Lawrie shows in action like breathing in.) You believe, the air will go in. Like this, when you go to water, you open the water, and then you believe, the water will come. You don't - if you are a hungry man, you don't go near the water and sing a song. You don't go and pray: “Oh water, wonderful water...” If you are hungry, you just take like that. (Bro. Lawrie shows actions like drinking water.)
30 Today what do the people do? They simply sing. The thing is, you have to open the tap. If you don't open the tap, you don't get the water. You may sing, you may put bhajan,5 the water won't come. Opening the tap is ‘faith’. That is why, faith is the real thing - trusting God, that He will heal you, whatever the disease is.
31 Suppose you may not have this finger, can you get your finger back? Where will you go? Suppose your car is repair, you go to the car hospital. If the watch is repair, you take it to the watch hospital. If your body is under repair, you go to the Creator - “Lord I am sick.” He won't say, ‘Go with one finger’. He'll say, He'll give a new finger. Do you believe that? “No, no, no, how can this finger come to me?” Because you are closing the door. If you believe this finger will come, it will come. But how you believe? You may have no hand. Can I get a new hand? In Jesus' time, He did that. When a man with a withered hand came, He said, ‘Put your hand up’. He didn't put His good hand. He took his bad hand and did like this and the hand came. Because He had life. He was God come down. That is why, Avatars came in different times to show God's power.
32 I believe Krishna came for that hour. If Krishna did not come, the wicked people would have been winning the battle. He came as a thief at the proper time. Thank God for that! Rama came. Why did he come? He wanted to save the people from Ravana. So Avatars come in the proper time.
33 Our country is a great country. This is the only country which practises Ahimsa. So are you not proud about it? The people are preparing bombs. On whom is India trusting today? Why did Gandhiji come? He told, ‘Soul force’. Why? He believed in God, but he believed in the God's power. But that time, power did not come. That's why they could kill him.
34 But when God has come down in these last days to finish Kali yuga,6 for Dharma yuga7 the very Narayana has to come. So He is not coming so that anybody could kill Him. He has come secretly in India to help the people of India. I am not telling that other avatars are there and all, I am not worried about that.
35 When God came down on moon landing day, I knew what has happened to me. There are many people who saw that. And during these years, He is teaching the people how to be saved in this coming trouble. That is why I have come here today, to tell you to be happy; because we won't be destroyed. There is a group of people who will stand strong in this message, they will overcome death! Why I am telling boldly? Because the soul power given by God now is superior to all these years. Because man has to be educated. He has to believe God, not for healing only - for complete recovery.
36 So in these days, God is doing mighty works. The whole India, even though it is in confusion today, God is having the hand on this country. Because everybody is worshipping something in this country. The fear of God is there. That is why, Communism, or any 'ism' cannot overcome India. There are so many 'isms'. But the fear of God is controlling the whole country. Why? So that at the last day Narayana could come and save His people. So let us be happy, God has come down! Don't think that I am a Christian. I am a God's man for this hour! The very God whom you worship, sent me here.
37 I am preaching and going in four days time. But very soon, there will be trouble all over the world. Kingdoms have fallen and everywhere there is a fear of violence. They think by shooting they can win the country. If by military means only you can win the whole world, you are very sadly mistaken. Why? You can't kill the Creator. The One who brought atomic bombs, He can overcome that. And all the people who believe Him can also overcome that.
38 So today, in these last days, first of all: You don't have any fear! Fear is not of God. Now see, there was a person. The next door person was beating him. So this boy was afraid. Whenever he meets the man, always had the fear. But one day, to the next house a strong man came. So this boy said, “I am afraid.” The man said, “Why are you afraid?” - “That man is beating me.” - “Oh, that man. I have beaten him once. Don't be afraid. Next time he tells anything, tell my name, he will run away.” Next day he came. “I will tell you to my friend.” - “Eh!” - He ran away. How did the fear go? He got friendly with the next man. So when you have God and you become friendly with God, all fear goes away. That is a very important thing. We need not be afraid of anything. Fear is not of God.
39 So if you are God fearing, the fear will go away. And also, in these last days, everybody is expecting something to happen. In the time of Jesus also, they were expecting Him to come. He came as a lamb.
40 Now see, this is very important. Now there are two people. One father has two sons. One fellow was a very bad fellow. He was a drunkard. He was about to murder people. The other brother was a lawyer - very good fellow. And the father at the time of the death, told the son - the lawyer, “Take care of the younger brother.” He said, “All right.” One day this younger brother killed a man, came running to the house. “Brother, I killed a man.” So the elder brother said, “You put on my dress, I'll put on your dress and you go to the room.” Police came. They took him to the court. And it was proved by his sign that he killed him. He was to be hanged. At that time he wrote a letter. “Brother, you are a wicked man, you killed that man, but I have taken that penalty. Within one hour they will kill me; hereafter be a good boy. And I have taken your sin. Be a good boy.” And this boy died.
41 And this man got the letter. Took the letter, went to the police, “I killed that man! Why did you hang my brother? You should have hanged me!” Then he was tried in the courts. For one punishment - for one sin - murder, there are no two punishments. This boy was killed. So even though he was a murderer, he was left free. That punishment never came to him. In the same way, for all what you have done, our forefathers have done, our karma, it's always with us. It will hunt us. A sin will die in our bones even. It won't leave us. So that is why, we human beings could not get rid of karma.
42 Now see, you have to learn every religion. For bhakthi,8 nobody to beat Hinduism. They have to learn from Hinduism bhakthi. For unity, you have to go to Muslims. But for karma, you have to take the sacrifice. That is why, if you say, “I don't want that”, you die. For that you don't go to another religion. I am not telling to convert from one religion to another religion. I love you, I want your karma to go away. I don't want to change your name. I want you to possess God in your life.
43 So what happened? The same Narayana, the same God whom you worship, He came down. He came down as Krishna, I agree. He came down as Rama, I agree. He came down as prophet Mohammad, I agree. But you don't agree that Jesus is - He was sacrificed. That is not Christianity. Jesus was not a Christian. He was a Jew telling about God. Later on the name came ‘Christians’. He is not a white man's God. He was Asia Jothi.9 Why we hate is, the British people, for slavery they brought it. They gave the wrong interpretation of the Bible.
44 You know one day, a Britisher came. He said, “If anybody smites you on one cheek, show the other cheek.” This is the worse thing anybody could do. Why? If I show my cheek and get a beating and show the other cheek, that fellow will keep on beating me. It's the easy way to make us slaves. I resist that. If Jesus gave that teaching, He is wrong.
45 Now, one day I went to England. One Negro was there. Two white men came, they were beating him on the cheek. Blood was coming. And he was telling, 'Praise the Lord' - one blow, one blow. I was standing there. Because he was a black man, I got angry. Because two white men are beating a black man, so I am a black man. So I said, “You are like a mountain - big fellow, you could one kick, hit both the fellows. Why are you allowing that?” - “My brother, Jesus told to show the other cheek. So I am showing the cheek.” So I got very angry, I pitied that fellow, I was also a strong man, I know karate, jujitsu, everything. So I slowly came, gave both blows. They fell down. “Why are you beating us?” - “You show your cheek, I am beating.” - “Ang!” - “I beat you, show your cheek.” - “No, no, no! A white man will never show his cheek.” I said, “A black man will never show his cheek!” They ran. So this Negro was watching me. “Brother, I got the revelation. The man who gives the first blow, he is the winner. You gave the first blow, they ran. So Jesus would not have told us to show the cheek, He would have told us to give the first blow.” Then from that day he was changed. He got my name.
46 After two years I went to London. There was a girl - Negro girl, she was beating a white man. So I caught that girl, “Why are beating a white man, lady?” - “Eh, eh, I am giving the first blow.” I said, “Where did you learn that?” - “Our leader is there, one day in the Hyde park an Indian came, he told him, ‘Give the first blow’, so my leader is telling everybody to give the first blow. So now today we are giving the first blow.” Then I told, “Do you know that name of that man?” - “Some Lawrie.” - “That's myself.” Then she said, “Thank your Mr. Lawrie. From that day, we are becoming a nation.” So how to become a nation? Getting blows - getting blows like that? What did the British say? “Show the cheek.” But they will never show the cheek.
47 That is why I tell you my friends, don't bring the religion to make us slaves. Because Jesus would have never made us slaves. Krishna did not make us slaves. Rama did not make us slaves. By our wrong thinking and wrong teaching we became slaves. So what happened? We not only rejected British as our invaders, we started rejecting the truth about sacrifice. They didn't bring Christianity. Two thousand years ago, St. Thomas apostle brought it. I am preaching that Christianity, not this British Christianity.
48 So today what I found out was, our Narayana or Jehovah, He came down and got a body, to take our death. So He showed Abraham a sign. He wanted to kill Abraham's son. So he was ready to kill his son - the only son. Then he sacrificed a lamb in the place of Isaac. So in the place of Isaac a lamb died. So Isaac got life. That is real Christianity. Jesus took our death by death. But in His place, we get life. That's what the Bible says, ‘You will seek Me and die in your sins’. If anybody is seeking Jesus, he will die in his sins. Why? He is a sacrifice. John said, ‘Behold the lamb of God’. So that is the remedy for the whole world. All karma goes away.
49 In moon landing day, that very Jesus came into my heart. Now many people say, “Oh, we also have Jesus.” Everybody has Jesus. But for me, Christ Jesus came into my life. And He is the One who gave me the interpretation of this word. The same Narayana, now you may be expecting He must have come as Krishna. Krishna came for his period.
50 But today, there are many people claiming as Avatars. But my friend, God has to vindicate it. If God doesn't vindicate it, nobody can be an avatar. But avatar has to die. Every avatar died. Avatar cannot give you life teaching. The only Person who cannot die is Narayana. That is called Christ Jesus. He has eternal life. That is why He came down. So this time He comes to His own body. Avatar means another body. But Christ's body He comes. Because of the death of that lamb Jesus, everybody who believe this message, they can overcome death. Death cannot touch you.
51 So you may be an Hindu, you may be a Muslim, you may be a Christian, if you receive me as a man sent by God, you will see your karma go away! You will see a peace coming into you! And you will be very happy! Your sickness will go! And that is why we have spent this money and come to you. I am not forcing you. Because I love you, even though the Christians hate me, I love you all, my country men! So you take this life! I am not come to establish a big church. I go my way. I am travelling throughout the world. But this is your hour! This is your healing time! God can give you new body if you believe. Because according to our belief we get it. If I believe ‘I'll get this’, I am getting it. That is why, I want you to raise up in faith.
52 Our Creator can create a new body for you today. That is why, all the healing meetings. There have been many healing meetings. But this meeting, you can get new body. You can see that you are healed while hearing this message! That proves my ministry. If I am not sent by God, my ministry is wrong. God cannot bless it. But God will vindicate my ministry! The whole nature will support me! Because God - unseen God works through the nature.
53 Now suppose, Rajiv Gandhi - he is one man. The whole India supports him. He is the voice of India. Reagon is the voice of America. Like that, every country, their president is the voice of that country. But God, the First Born, Narayana, is the voice of God! God works through Him. That is called ‘Christ Jesus’. Christ Jesus means: One came in David's line, into whom life comes. That's the ‘Voice of God’. Voice of God created those days. But voice of God will destroy the world this today. It is not that - people are not going to die of atomic bomb. They are going to die of the voice of God! The sheep of God will hear the voice of God! If you are a sheep of God,...

(Message given at a public open air meeting)
1 Acts 10:34, 35.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
2 God is not a respecter of persons and He of a truth, in every nation he that feareth Him and worketh righteousness is accepted with Him. That is the word in the Bible. But people don't believe that. Every religion thinks that they are the good people, others all are going to hell. I also was taught like that and I believed like that before. But when I travelled around the world meeting many saints of God in all religions, I found out this great truth: That God is not a respecter of persons and He accepts everybody in any nation, if he fears Him. That breaks every religious barrier. He is not accepting you because you are a rich man, because you are a big minister; but He accepts you because you fear God, whatever nation you are.
3 But what happened in India? These religions came. And every religion thinks that they are the only people chosen of God. So Muslim religion came. India was under them for sometime and many people accepted Muslim culture. But some people refused to do that. Then the British Government came.
4 British Isles is a small island. But how did they conquer the whole world? We must think all these. Why India became divided and divided and became nothing? If you know the reason, today India will rise like a giant, and India can teach the whole world. But why this happens in India? Not because we are become democracy, not because we became one state. Unless man changes and fears God, this will happen to us.
5 Man tells, “Where is God? - Show me God.” I am not preaching a religious God. You can have any gods you like. But if you do wrong and do wickedly, you are not a godly man.
6 Today a man can be a very bad fellow, but if he goes to some temple or some church, he thinks, they are godly people. That is wrong. God is not respecting anybody as persons.
7 Today you go throughout the world, there is a preaching that religion is the opium of the people. Because some people are bent only on collecting money. You go every place: They think that God is like a beggar. As if - if you don't beg, God cannot do His work.
8 Forty years I have been preaching all over the world without collecting any money. I went from here to London with five and a half anas in my hand. So when I went to London, I didn't have any money in my hand. I was in a hotel. In that night I had food only for that night. Then I said, “Lord, You are here in England also! I have no food for tomorrow.” And I slept. 12 o' clock a man came and knocked at my hotel door. He said, “Is this the room of Lawrie?” I said, “I am sleeping, why do you want to trouble me?” - “God appeared to me and gave your name and address and asked me to give you so much of pounds.” Then he said, “I want to give you lot of money, but God told me not to give lot of money.”
9 So I took the money, attended the conference. Then I returned to London. No money. I was very hungry. Nobody to give me any food; and I didn't want to ask anybody. At 12 o' clock, one lady next to me, “Are you an Indian?” - “Yes.” - “Why don't you eat some food?” So she gave me food. And the train came at 9 o' clock to the London station from Glasgow. I didn't know where to go. I don't know anybody there. I had no money for a hotel. At that time the train came to the station. Suddenly one man was waving the hand. Then I knew he was one of my old friends. He said, “Yesterday night when I was sleeping, I had a dream that you are coming in this train. Then the Lord told me to take you to my house, so I am here.” He'll never let you down! Like that for forty years He led us. That is why I say, “God is a good God.” He is not a beggar. He doesn't want anybody to beg for money. If you are chosen of God, if you love God, money will come to your home. You need not run after money.
10 Today religion is only for money. Every religion is built on money or on the grave of some people - that is religion today. I am not preaching that religion. I am not preaching a British Christianity. I am preaching about Jesus, who sent His apostle two thousand years ago. He came to India. And in Madras they killed him. And they killed him in St. Thomas mount. They tied him to a tree and they put an arrow on his chest, and he laid down his life as a martyr. That blood has raised me.
11 So my friend, as Indians, I don't know what religion you belong to. If there are anybody to sing, even in my meetings I allow any religious people to come and sing your own song. You may say, “Why do you put here 'Jesus'?” This is not British Jesus. 'Asia Jothi'1 Jesus I am putting. He belongs to Asia. Like Buddha, like prophet Mohammed, Jesus belongs to Asia. No religion started in the West. It started only in Asia. I am proud about my country. Are you not proud about your country?
12 Today if you want rain, it is only our mistake. You pray to God and confess all your sins and turn to God, you will have rain tomorrow here. I am living in a place ‘Ashram’. It was a dry land; no rain for six years. So when I went there, I couldn't get a tumbler of water. I had to go two miles to get water. Then we studied the Bible and did according to the Bible. Then the rain came. Every well is filled. Now for nearly ten years, that Ashram has become very cold now. Trees are there and there is no dryness there.
13 God can change any dry country to a good country. It is only for the sins of the people, the land becomes dry. Because everybody can think they can kill anybody. But God's curse is in every country where innocent people are killed. So we, as a nation should raise up.
14 Of course we must have patriotism for our state. I am glad that Andhra is very strong as a state. But I want to think India as a whole, because India is our country. When I was in Ceylon, I felt like a stranger. But today I am in my own country. So why should I be afraid in our own country?
15 Today religion is a different thing. But if you have God in your life, then religion starts there and then you love everybody. Today religion doesn't promote love. It promotes hatred. One religion against another religion, and they want to shoot and they want to become big. I warn every religious man today: The end has come for your violence! God will not allow that violence any more! Because God coming down means: He has come with His battalion. You know, He doesn't come simply to be killed by the other people. He comes with His full army. I see God's army everywhere posted.
16 When ordinary minister goes, what protection is given! So you mean to say when God comes down, there will be no protection for Him and His people? God protects His people. If God comes down in India, our books say that. Today Christians say that God will come in the air. God said, “I will go and prepare a place for you, and will come and take you unto Myself.”
17 There are three comings in Christian religion. First He came to buy His wife. Secondly He came to take His wife. Thirdly He comes with His wife. So today Christians are so afraid of my ministry, they have swallowed the second coming which they were preaching for fifty years. You go and read the Bible. Job was telling, “My redeemer liveth, He will stand on this earth.”
18 So today people are afraid of other religions. When they say 'Ramraj': “Oh, that is Hinduism.” But Rama, we must trace where Rama comes in the Bible. Rama was the great-grandfather of David. It is in the Bible. Everything in India is in the Bible, in other books also. But people don't study that.
19 Today - when we were taught Christianity, we were taught like this: “All Hindus are idol worshippers, they will be put into the fire and burnt.” Can you believe that? My forefathers were Hindus, you are Hindus, you mean to say, you will be put into the fire and we will be saved?” That is what the British taught. But I have found out today, that more than the Hindus, the Christians will be put into the fire. Why is that?
20 You know Hindus - this worshipping of idols, it is only thathuvam.2 That is: If I want to draw a sun, I will put a circle and put rays there. That is, to show what a sun is like. But the sun won't have heat - that sun won't have heat. So like that, the Hindu idols is only 'thathuvam'. But God says that you should not worship any creature. But any idols of Hindus, they have four heads means, that God can see on the four sides. That means He is not having four heads; He is able to see all over. So God tells, this is ungodliness. The Saviour will come and turn them from all ungodliness.
21 But what do the Christians do today? They worship Peter, Paul and James and everybody. They are worshipping the creatures. You will be put into the fire. So don't any more talk like that. Mainly we can't create anything; so that if you worship that, you are in sin.
22 What is God? Object of worship. So if it is an object of worship, it must have a form. But the 'Paramathma'3 is everywhere. It is a Spirit. So that Spirit, nobody can understand. It is an intelligent Spirit. It has got many good natures. It has got judgment power, and we have to know what kind of power that is. And God cannot reveal Himself as a Spirit to anybody. So God was thinking of revealing Himself. So He was trying to find out whom He can choose. Angels were powerful, but He didn't choose angels. He didn't choose any animal, but He chose men. When He chose a man who is to come at the end time, at the end of Kali Yuga,4 He took that form in the beginning when He created.
23 Everybody has got a soul. But we fell by nature in sin by disobedience. So God, to choose a man, He took that form. Because God is eternal, He gave Him eternal life and the glory; He cannot have sin. So the power of God possessed that man, so that He could appear to people as a man. And that is called ‘First Born’. But people say it as Allah, Jehovah, Narayana, and like that they say. But God is above that. That God is possessing that Person, but He is everywhere. That you can't see with your eyes. So this Person is called First Born. But that was one of the person who is to come later on. That is the trouble; jealousy came in the angels. So they wanted to destroy that. But what God has thought, He will fulfil.
24 So when that holy God took that person, the Ghost in Him is called the Holy Ghost. When a man dies, His Ghost goes away. So that is why in the Bible it says, “A lamb slain before the foundation of the world.” So when the unseen God selected this man, He pushed that Ghost outside. So He was totally God. His self was out. So this self is called Holy Ghost. So God, before Calvary, He slayed that First Born's body. And He gave Him power that He can give His life and take it back.
25 But God is a consuming fire, we cannot meet Him. That is why he said, “There is one God, one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.” So you can't approach God directly, there is a Mediator. That is the first creation. So He not only created Himself, He created everybody in Him before the foundation of the world. That is why some people in this world are godly, some people are not godly.
26 So when you know that you are godly, you have been before the foundation of the world. So that before the earth was created, you were there. So you have come here to the earth to be tested by God, whether you will touch things of this earth. That is why some people don't touch the earth, others are touching the earth. But things what you see is not eternal, things you don't see is eternal. But man is clinging to these ordinary things of this world. That is called Maya.5
27 A man comes, then he gives birth to children, then the children grow, then the man dies. After that what is going to happen? Is that end of life of man? If man dies like a beast, and there is no life after death, then you can eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow you die, after that there is nothing. Why do you want to lead a good life, if there is no life after death? Come on, enjoy the life and die and go! But: There is life after death.
28 If you take a chicken in an egg, it has got legs, it has got eyes, it has got beak, in a shell. It can't be used in the egg. It is prepared for another world. So like that, we have desires in this world which the world cannot satisfy. When I was a young man I wanted to enjoy life. I thought we must enjoy, but I was never happy.
29 My dear brothers and sisters! My Indian brothers and sisters! Have you got peace in your heart? I am asking you as your own brother. You may have been enjoying life, you may think this world is everything; but when you come home, something is empty there: “Iyyoh, I am not happy!” Are you not happy? If you don't have that peace, you won't be happy!
30 When the karma comes behind - and this karma: You may be good, but your forefather's karma will come and affect your family. “I didn't do anything bad, my child is lame now!” It is true, that you didn't do anything. You didn't do anything bad. But that karma is following you.
31 I know a family. That man killed some people. He was a rich man. One day in his house, four children died; his own children. So he was crying and saying, “Why this happened in me?” I told, “Your father did that, now your children are dying.” But one lady married a godly man, and she got the peace. That karma never affected that family. But today that karma is affecting all the other family members. So you can get rid away of your karma in this world. Otherwise it will go on like a river.
32 So many people say, “I am a good man from today.” I know many people think that, “If I lead a good life from today, I am a good man.” What about the karma you did before? That is in the account of God. You can't start a new account. You have to pay your debts. I can't write the accounts and say, “From today onwards a new account.” Then the debtors will come and say, “Give our money.”
33 But you must understand there is God. “Oh, where is God? Show me.” Have you ever seen your stomach? But you know that you have a stomach. You look at the nature, everything will show the glory of God. You say, nature came like this. You know, sun is burning like this for so many years; thousands of years, it came like that? Where did the chicken come from? You will say, “From the egg.” - “Where did that egg come from?” - “Oh, that came from a chicken.” - “Where did that chicken come from?” - “Oh, it is from the egg.” - “Which came first?” - “Egg.” - “Where did that egg come from?” - “Chicken.” - Then? “That chicken came from an egg.” So in the beginning there must have been one chicken or an egg. The One who created that is God.
34 Nothing came in this world by simply. “Oh, man came from monkeys!” I am living for 67 years. There are many monkeys in Courtrallam. Not one monkey has become a man. 67 years could not make a monkey a man, and no man has become a monkey. I have seen my friends: 67 years they are still man, not monkeys. So man says, “Man came from monkey.” You can write anything man, but the truth is important.
35 You have got a soul. If you have no peace, that place can be filled only by God. You can't fill it by adultery, you can't fill it by drinking, you can't fill it by dancing with a girl. You can't go to cinema and fill it. You can't fill it by eating and eating and eating. “Oh, I'll eat biriyani,6 I'll eat chicken biriyani. Oh, meat biriyani, pig biriyani...”
36 But see, the pig is eating the dirt. But if that is eating the dirt, how can the flesh be good? So all these biriyanis are good for taste. In China, they eat the snakes also, frogs also. In Europe, some people eat horse also, some people eat dogs also. In India some people eat cats also and bandicoots also. Some people eat so many dirty things. You can eat everything, then some cancer comes. You don't realise, by your eating you produce so many sickness.
37 Now I am a vegetarian. I am very happy I became a vegetarian. (Side change) ...So Hindus won't believe, because Christians eat chicken and say 'God, God, God'. That is because you have no Jeeva karunyam.7 Because that is not taught to us. You go to other countries: My, my, so many things in meat! But thank God, God opened my eyes for this! I wish the whole Indian people become vegetarian, because I want them to live longer.
38 When I tell something, it is for your blessings. As a country, we have got so many religions. So many religions were brought into India. The Hindus say, “India for Hindus.” I say, “India for Indians.” India is not for Hindus only. Because I take the best from everything. You do something wrong and say, ‘India for Hindus’. I was a Hindu, but now I know the truth, and I want to make the best out of all these things. So: 'India for Indians.' Andhra for Andhras - No! ‘Andhra for Indians’, ‘Tamil Nadu for Indians’, ‘Kerala for Indians’! The whole India for Indians.
39 But man doesn't know why these troubles come to India. - Because of separation! The Christians want to have a Christian state. Hindus want to have an Hindu state. In Ceylon they want Sinhalese to live only.
40 One day, in one of the troubles, I was there. The present day prime minister I know. I was the all Ceylon football player; I was the only Indian to play. Ceylon people loved me very much. At that time, my wife and children, we were going on the road. Big riot came. They wanted to kill every Tamilian - Indian. So one of my girl friends came. Her sister is married to a Sinhalese: “Brother run, they will kill you!” So I ran to the Sinhalese house and put my children and everybody under the bed. I came out. Two thousand people coming with gun and knife and everything, shouting, ‘Sinhala! Sinhaladesha!...’ I knew my time has come, that they will kill me. So the leaders came, came straight with a knife: “You Tamil fellow!” They did like this. Suddenly he looked at me. He fell down, cried. I said, “Why? Come on kill me.” - “No, no, are you the son of Mr. Rasiah?” - “Yes.” - “My, your father helped our families! He was a charitable man; so many people he gave money! We Sinhalese people are blessed by him! And we came to kill you! Where is your wife and children?” - “They are under the bed.” The Sinhalese people came - “Tell them to come.” - “My! We can't kill you! Even though Indians, you helped the Sinhalese.” So my children were carried, my wife and I walking in a procession. Two thousand Sinhalese came to the station, put me in the train with my family, sent some body guards up to Thalaimannar. They were telling, “Ceylon will always welcome you, our brother!” So we came.
41 So when I came to India - why I was saved? It was dharmam.8 Charity saved me. If my father was collecting money for himself, today I won't be living. So when I came to India, I told my children, “I won't collect any money for you. I won't save any property for you. Everything for the other poor people.” So from that day, we have not kept anything for the family. We want everybody to be blessed, because we know by practical thing, that charity saves you.
42 Today, where is charity? They build a big pandal.9 “Oh, this is that rich man's pandal!” That is not charity. Many people think they are charity. Helping the poor people is charity. Helping the orphans is charity, destitute is charity, not giving to rich people.
43 Today many orphanages from America, if you go and find there, they will have father and mother, but they will call it an orphanage. And the money is not given to the people, the people eat it and give the people ordinary khanjee. But that is not God. Because it comes from the heart. It doesn't say, ‘Only Christians should enjoy.’ Everybody should enjoy!
44 One day a Muslim woman came, “Brother, my husband died. I can't even bury him.” - “Yes, take this money.” One Christian said, “Why are you helping a Muslim lady?” I said, “She is also an Indian lady. Why can't I help it?” - “Oh, you are doing wrong thing, help only the Christian widows!” A widow is a widow, let us help every religious people!
45 So today in India, we are divided and nobody seems to get God. Now today the Hindus are expecting Krishna, the Muslims are expecting Mahadi, Christians are expecting Jesus. You mean to say, three, four gods are coming? Narayana is one. Christ is one. He comes down. So the Hindus should recognize Him by the Spirit. That is why, if you meditate you can find out. That is what the big leaders have written in the books, where He will come, how He will come.
46 Tagore writes in Geetanjali, “He will be going on the road; you will never find Him. He will be eating in the hotel; you can never find Him. That King is not coming like a King. He is coming like an ordinary man. You will never find Him, unless you tune your life to God.” Because we have come to the last part of this age. Don't think this world will go on for a long time, because they have got weapons to destroy the whole world.
47 Man cannot save the countries. One war starts, everybody will be in flames. That is why God comes down to save His people. Krishna came, not to save Duryodhana's people. He came to save the Pancha Pandavas. Rama did not come to save the wicked people. He came to save the God's chosen people. So, even today, God comes to save His chosen people. If you are not afraid of God, if you are not turning towards God, how can you be His chosen people? What shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his soul? What shall he give in exchange for his soul?
48 So when I was going to America, I thought, I had an idea that all the Hindus, everybody should become Christians. So when I had a meeting in Madras, I was preaching to one million people one day. Kamaraj Nadar was there. So very big crowd! The whole Madras came. At that time, I was standing in the platform. Ministers came. I had prayed for Dr. Cherian's family, Nedunchezhian's family; Jothi Venkatachalam Governor, we have prayed. Every minister used to come. Kamarajar attended our meetings. Inspector Arul was there.
49 I was a big man. I can't cut my hair, because the hair will be stolen. I can't put my shirts for washing, they will steal the shirt and go away. I can't go on the road. I was pleasing everybody. But I didn't know the truth. So about three thousand Hindus wrote a petition. “Mr. Lawrie we believe that you are the avatar for this age. We want a dharsan.”10 I was so fanatic, I said, “I don't want to look at you.” Because I was taught as a Christian. This happened twenty five years ago in 1962. The Hindus were very unhappy. But in that meeting I preached the truth. Then the Christians started hating me, because I preached the truth. They started throwing stones, they threw slippers. I had to run for my life, simply because I said that God loves everybody. They wanted me to say that God loves only Christians. Then I became very unpopular. Then every Christian will talked bad about me. My children will be very unhappy. As they go, they will say, “This is anti-Christ's children, these are devil's children.” So my children will hang their face and go. They will say, ‘My wife is a devil's wife.’ So we had no friends. At that time when I go on the road, they wanted even to beat me. Any police inspector, if he was a Christian, I will be in danger. Then Muslims came to help me. I said, “Muslims? Why do you help me?” - “Because you are a nice person, you love us.”
50 I had one Muslim friend. I prayed for him, God healed him. So all the Muslims came to help me. So when the Christians came to beat me, the Muslims said, “If you touch Mr. Lawrie, the whole Muslim will come to fight.” Then in another place, the Hindus came to help me. I said, “Why do you want to help me?” - “Because something is funny, you are a loving man.”
51 Then I mixed with all the people. I studied their books. Then I found God moved in every religion. I challenge you people, that God moves in every religion. But God is not in the religion. God is going on the roads today. You can find Him on the road, not in the temples and churches. Because they have made it tight, so that even if God comes, He can't enter into these churches. Even God comes today, He can't get into any Christian churches. Then are our hopes lost? No! You can meet Him on the roads. He wants bad people only. He invited good people, they refused to come.
52 Now God is calling the good and the bad people. Brother, sister, if you are a drunkard, if you are an adulterer, if you are a murderer, if you are a very bad man, God calls you today! He loves you today! God is not with the good people today. He wants bad people! Will you accept Him today? He wants to forgive your sins! That is why God gave this ministry.
53 One day I was in America. About forty people came. They were very big people. One lady was four hundred and fifty pounds - so big. She will carry me like this. And they had forty people like that. They always had guns. If they get angry, they will beat you. So they came there, heard that an Indian has come. When I saw their body... Some lady told me, “Be careful about these people, they will do something to you.” So I was there. “Bro. Lawrie, you preach about God?” - “Yes.” - “But we are wicked people, we kill people; we eat pig meat, we always drink, we are smokers, we have two or three wives, have we any hope?” - “Yes.” So I prayed for them. These forty people fell down like a mountain. The four hundred and fifty pounds lady fell down, 'aah' like that. Within about half an hour, I can see forty people like dead corpse. If any American saw me, they will think that I have done some dangerous thing to this people. I waited. Slowly this fat lady got up - “I am happy.” Then everybody got up, they started jumping. “Oh, my Bro. Lawrie, we are happy.” With one bottle brandy in the hand, cigarette in the mouth, - “Oh, we are happy!” I said, “One bottle of brandy, smoking, they are happy? I can't believe this.” But they said, “Eh, we are happy! Our karma is gone!” Then immediately they embraced me. If they squeeze you, you are powder.
54 So they took me to their home. Susie also came. “Oh, today we are having a festival in honour of Bro. Lawrie.” We have pig meat, drinks, everything on the table.” They are jumping and dancing. My wife was there. I said, “We are getting caught with this dangerous people, I don't know what they will do to us.” They said, “Come on, come on, this is pig meat, eat!” - “You don't eat pig meat?” - “No sir.” - “Then, drinks - whisky.” - “Please get me some soda.” - “You don't want to enjoy your life? But we are happy. We were never happy like this!”
55 So we finished their festival. I went home. Next day they telephone - “When are you coming?” - “I am coming soon.” Then next time I went there, I don't know where the whisky bottle went, where smoking went. They were all happy. “Brother tell us more about God.” And some Americans came to fight with me. This forty people said, “Bro. Lawrie made us good men. If you fight with him, we will take our gun and shoot you.” Then they went away. Then I was very happy. And today, all this forty people: When I touched, their karma went away. So the Christians came, “How can karma go without becoming a Christian?” No, their karma is gone. They said, “Yes.” - “Why don't you become a Christian?” - “No, we will never become a Christian.”
56 Brother and sister, we are not come to convert you to a Christian religion. Don't change any religion, don't make me also change any religion. I had the foundation Christianity, I have preached to thousands and thousands in every country. So I am standing for that. But peace comes to you today.
57 God has crossed the barrier of the Christians and coming to you my friends! This world, all troubles will stand only till lakh and forty four thousand come to God! I have come here to gather lakh and forty four thousand people, whether men or women! When the lakh and forty four thousand of the Judah tribe comes,....
58 You know why these Hindus are waiting? They are waiting for their Krishna and that Krishna is coming like Krishna. Don't think He will come with a big hair like this. But when He came, He came to save the people at that time.
59 So avatar means, the first Christ Jesus, Narayana puts His Spirit in that man. That is an Avatar. That will have to die. When the duty is finished, it will die and go.
60 Now Jesus, when He came to the world, He was baptized and this Holy Ghost was put into Him. But that is not Narayana's body. It was living in Him. Like a seed it was put into the ground, so everybody who believes in Jesus, for two thousand years their karma went that way. But with the karma, when the karma went away, with the seed also went the gardener. But now this period is over. Now Narayana has come to His own body which He had to take in this earth. That is the Son of David's body, and Son of David belonged to Ramraj. His great grandfather Rama, then comes David, and in that line it comes. And this Judah tribe means, they are waiting for their King and they will hear His voice and come to him.
61 My dear friends, I don't appear like a saint. I am appearing like an old man. But my voice is different. It is not my voice. Because we surrender our lives to God, so that God could live in us fully. But you will hear the voice. And I can see the lakh and forty four thousand coming in India. Till then there will be safety in India. But when that is gathered, woe unto the world. There will be a terrible persecution. The religion will persecute the people. Every religious people will get together under the anti-Christ and he will bring persecution. But God, before that, this is the time when the fruit is coming. When the seed is put under the ground, it has to die. You don't see the seed again. What Christians have made a mistake is, they say, “The seed will come back to life.” The seed won't come back. You are not going to see the seed back. Jesus is the seed. Now you can see hundreds of people coming at the end time as fruit of Jesus, having His power. And God came to gather the seed.
62 So when Krishna comes, He will gather His own people. But among Muslims and Christians and Hindus, God is gathering a people. There are good people in Muslim religion, there are good people in Christians, there are good people in the Hindus. But you will find, they won't belong to any religion. They will go above religion. For those I am speaking today! You have hope in God.
63 Now today, if you want to find it out, you meditate and ask. “Lord, you are my god, show me where you are living, so that we can concentrate on you.” If a man is really concentrating on God, he can easily find out whether God has come down. You don't have to go on telling it. We have come here to tell that there is a way of getting peace without going to a religion. Because man has closed the door. Religion has closed the door for good people, calling others as bad people.
64 Now God comes to the bad people! I am a bad man. Every bad man, come on! God is coming for you. I need not touch you. As I give a prayer, open your heart: “God, I am a bad man. I can't lead a good life; I am a terrible fellow, but I want you to come!” He won't come into you without invitation. When you open your heart, call Him into your heart, right that minute He comes! You open the door, the light comes in, it won't come tomorrow. You open door, the light comes in. If you open the door, the peace comes in!
65 If you believe God is living in me, you don't have to become a Christian. I am not going to make you a Christian, but I want you to get peace. That peace comes into you and healing takes place. When the peace comes in, healing takes place! When the light comes in, darkness goes away! When the light comes in, every sickness goes away! Only thing is, you open your heart. And mind you, don't come to Christianity but improve your religion. Show the people there is a God! Show the people they have got peace!
66 Without peace there is no religion. Without peace there is no God! If God comes in, He has to give you peace! You may be any religious man but without peace you are not having God. Peace doesn't come without forgiveness of sins. Peace doesn't come without your karma going!
67 So when I was pushed out from Christianity for this truth, I knew God has crossed the barrier of Christians and coming to the others. So accept God! You will find that a great peace comes into you. You will be the happiest person in this world. And the future is ours! This ministry will break - smash everything and will become a big mountain spread out all over the world. The future is ours. Future is not for any religion. Future is for people who fear God. So today, for your karma, if you call Jesus into your heart, if you believe that God is in me, God can create today.
68 God coming down is not an ordinary thing. Now God can do anything for you. Now that boy came in the morning, half the eye was flesh, red flesh on the eyes. So when I touched that, the red flesh gone. Why? Because God can do that. But you must raise up to that faith. Don't lose your courage and say, “Oh, Doctor said, I will die.” You won't die. ‘Oh, this is cancer.’...
69 I know a lady in Trivandrum. She had Cancer. She was to die in a week. So she came running. The husband brought. She was very angry with the mother-in-law. This hatred produced cancer. If you have hatred against anybody, cancer will come to you. Take away the hatred out of your lives! Brother, that produces disease. If you are hating anybody, that is a cradle for your disease. Take that hatred away, you see your healing comes to you! If you have any sickness, today, God hears our prayers.
70 So when I give that prayer, you must believe that moment. If I want to meet somebody tomorrow, I won't say, “I'll meet you tomorrow.” I'll say, “I will meet you tomorrow in-front of Y.M.A. Church Hall, at this time.” So when I come at 9 o' clock, he'll also come at 9 o' clock and we meet. (Message given at a public open air meeting)
1 Acts 17:24-28.
23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
2 Praise be to the name of God. This is the last day of the meeting. And I know that God has blessed us all. Many times in the name of religion, so many atrocities have been committed. In the name of religion, millions and millions died in Palestine. The Muslims killing Christians and Christians killing Muslims. It is all in the name of religion. I don't know which side God will support. But the result is millions died.
3 In the crusade war, millions died and the religious leaders prayed and sent to fight. In the name of religion, many were put into lion's den and set fire and killed. And still people think God is living in such atrocities. But people died; but men still do not realize that God is not on all the things. Then where is God living today? If God is living in the temples and churches, then God can move in the churches. But God is pushed out of those things, what's the use of those buildings?
4 Suppose you want to look at the sun, you can't stay in the house and look at the sun. You have to come out. In the same way, you want to see real God, He is not far away from you. If you love Him with all your heart, surely man can find God. I thought that God was something like buying sugar from a shop. Today people talk about God ‘talking in telephones’. God is not so cheap. But God talks to people. If God did not talk to us we would not have come to this ministry.
5 And from a small age I saw God's hand in my life. When I was born, my father kept me in his lap and was playing in Ceylon. I was about a year. Then suddenly a Sinhalese man came running with a knife to kill me and my father. Suddenly a lightning struck that man and he went rolling. And he shouted, “I thought to kill you and your son, but suddenly God prevented me!” So my father told me, “Even at the age of one year I saw the Sinhalese fellow come to kill you, but you were saved by a lightning.” Then he told me that you got a great purpose to do, and he dedicated me for God's work. By my father wanted me to work, joining a Christian church and become a priest.
6 When I was five years old, he used to take me to the sea shore and he will be praying. One day he was praying till 6 'o clock. I was just going out near the sea. Suddenly as I was going, the sea was also going behind. And suddenly my father searched me and one man told my father, “There's a small boy going into the sea, but the waves are not coming.” So my father ran to the sea and he caught me and came running. Then he knelt down there, “God, why did the waves go behind? Otherwise my son would have been killed!” So he took me to the shore, “I don't know, I am afraid of you because this thing happened. You can't do any more work except do God's work.”
7 But as I grew, I went to these churches and did not find any God there. I was a very mischievous fellow. In the church they will sing, ‘Oh, Holy Ghost come on us; Lord, don't take away the Holy Ghost’. This they think as if they have got the spirit. And the Bishops also they will go and lay their hands and say, 'Receive the spirit'. So one day I asked my father when I was a small boy, “How can a Bishop give the spirit when he has no spirit?” Then my father said, “Yes, yes, I know that.” Then I asked my daddy, “Did you have the spirit?” - “No.” - “You are a big man, why didn't you have it.” Then I was searching for the spirit of God. At that time when I was in college, I became very mad against Christianity. Because, they do one thing which is not in the Bible.
8 Today, I can condemn my own religion. I am not ready to condemn the other religions. Because I worked for that religion for a long time. The present day big, big preachers are our converts. Dinakaran, so many other people, they all took baptism under me. But today what I find was, if I don't warn the people, the blood is on my head. That is why, I am bold in telling everybody if they are doing wrong. I am not afraid of anything, because I am an Indian. No Indian can come and attack me in this country. If I am in Ceylon the Sinhalese can attack me. But India is my own country. I have not sold my country for money.
9 Today what the Christians do, they go the America not to preach, they go to America... I know a man from Eluru. He was in America. They put a big notice: ‘People are dying in India, no food, starvation. Give money’. I was in Germany and Holland. I saw this notice, I saw the name also. I told him, “Where are people dying of starvation?” - “Then only we can get money.” And when I questioned him, he told the Holland people I am a thief. So they pushed me out of the house. I was going on the roads.
10 Most of the troubles came from Indians in other countries. But I went to preach the gospel there. I didn't go to collect money. So the Western people did not like me, but some people admired me. Like that, I went to every country. I went to Caribbean Islands, Japan, Hawaii Island, South America, all over. And I put my leg in every place and preached there on the roads even. Why should a man be afraid to preach the truth? Because truth will set us free.
11 Today India, why it has gone down? Because they don't tell what is truth. What about our ministers? In elections they tell they are going to do so many things. But when they get into the position, they won't even look at you. I had many ministers whom I prayed for them. When they come to position, when I go near, they will look up; they won't look at you. That is the position. But one thing I tell you: This country is not like the other countries. For this country specially, God takes control. Because our's is the only country preaching Ahimsa Dharma1. So God has to protect this country. That is why, if any leader doesn't acknowledge God, that leader falls down. Whether Andhra or Tamil Nadu or anywhere, if they don't accept that one God and give honour to Him, one day or other they will fall, because God takes care of our country. He loves our country, that is why He came into an Indian. In other countries they get prophets to show that India will be that country.
12 So when I was a small boy, my father named me ‘Paulaseer Lawrie Muthu Krishna’. I have three names. 'Paulaseer' - a Muslim name - ‘Aseer', and ‘Lawrie’ my ordinary school name, 'Muthu Krishna' is the name given by my father, because that Muthu Krishna was the man who brought my father up in Ceylon. So when he was dying - that Muthu Krishna, he told me, “You have my name; that name musn't get any dishonour.” So my mother was against that name. So my father and mother were fighting: “Why you are bringing Muthu Krishna into the family.” My father said, “That name must be there.” So in the C.S.I. church I was named ‘Paulaseer Lawrie Muthu Krishna’. It's in the church!
13 Today the Christians will say, “Bro. Lawrie has become an Hindu. Why he is having Muthu Krishna name?” - That is my father's wish, given in the C.S.I. church. My mother will always say 'Paul'. When I say 'Lawrie', “Hey, don't put that 'M' there. Don't put that name 'M' there - Muthu Krishna.” Because she was afraid to tell that name Muthu Krishna, because in my mother's opinion that's a very dangerous name. But what I found out was, we had only fanaticism. 'Madha veri'2 they say in Tamil.
14 Today you ask anybody - 'Our religion', 'Your religion', 'Their religion'. It is something like this: One man married and had children. Then the husband died. There was another man who also had children. That wife died. So this woman married that man. After their union, they had children. One day they were fighting: “Your children and my children are fighting with our children. Your children and my children fighting with our children.” But all are their children.
15 Today, you know in any way when people are sick, they are discouraged. But God can do wonderful things. Only we cannot believe that. Why? Can a twisted limb be healed?
16 One day in Madras, one man had an accident. He lost his eyes, he lost his hands, he couldn't walk, he can't talk, he can't hear. So he was just like a mass of flesh. He couldn't see his wife. So it was about four years he was like that. One day a Salvation Army Officer put him on the shoulders and brought him to the meeting. It was about eighty thousand people. I couldn't run away. So they put a ladder and was climbing through the back wall. And this man was keeping the body on his shoulders. When I jumped out, the officer said, “Please pray.” So I prayed and ran into my house. Immediately he was healed. His eyes opened, he was talking and he went to his job again and even today he is living. Why I am telling this is? Not to show that I am a great man. I am an ordinary man like you, feelings like you. But God is able to do anything. Because in our brain we cannot think like that. ‘Can God do this? I am like this. Can I ever walk again?’
17 One day we went to a village. A man was lying on the bed for seven years. So I asked him, “When are you going to get up?” - “Right now.” - “Then get up.” Immediately he walked. So, that person believed, he was walking. ‘Can dead people live?’ - ‘Yes!’ Even about six months ago, in the Ashram, one man while preaching, he fell down dead. Then we were very much shocked. Took his hands, all cold. And we are crying. So we got round, lifted him up. It's a dead body. Then we prayed in the name, immediately life came.
18 So today we have a great God. That God, I am not telling whether He is a Christian God or Hindu God or Muslim God - our God. It is ‘our God’! We have found it out. When He talked to me, I met Him when I had no peace. In the estate He met me, I got a joy in 1943. Now it is 1985. So many years that joy has never left me. So I want you to get that joy.
19 You can sing good songs. You can go to churches. Because you are going to temple and church that doesn't mean that you are a godly man. If so, a man can go to the car shed everyday and become a car. Going to a church is all right. But the church has no power to change you. It's only God who can change you.
20 I have read the history of many of the saints in other religions. Many people don't read that. There's a Muslim who is called Kunamgudi Masthan. What a nice book he has written! This Bharathiar, he is a Brahmin. What a nice thing he has written! Veera Brahman book is a prophetical book. Sahaj Marg is a prophetical book.
21 But one thing I know, that everybody is looking for a man. So there are about hundred people as ‘avatars’ in India now. India is a very big country, so they think every state and every community must have one avatar. I don't know when fight will come between these avatars. If any man is a big man, he thinks he is an avatar. But when he comes and takes the position of God, God puts a blow on his head and he becomes useless. He will not give the glory to everybody. God gives the glory not to everybody. But we in this world, we are like put in a cage.
22 Now see, if there's a hen's egg and a duck's egg and an eagles' egg, we put under the hen to hatch it. After some time, chicken comes, duck comes and eagle comes. What will the hen think? ‘Oh, these are three children.’ It will make a noise. Chicken will come and eat all the dirt. But the duck will come to eat, it can't eat. It will walk like this and go into the water. The mother will say, “Why are you getting into the water? You will die in water! But why you are walking like this?” That is not chicken, that is duck. But she thinks that is also her children. Then the eagle comes. “My darling eagle, come and eat this kuppaithotti3, this dirt.” - “Wah, mummy I can't eat this. This is dirt. Something is wrong with me!” - “Oh, eat this my children. This dirt is good for you.” But the chicken is eating. So like that, what you are before, you'll do that thing.
23 So in this world we have got earthly people, heavenly people also. But you must know to which place you belong. If you belong to the earth you will be thinking all the time about the earth. Their idea is to have much money and property and eat well and drink, for tomorrow we are going to die.
24 So like the duck, every time it goes to the water, the hen says, “Darling don't go into the water, you will die.” But the duck is swimming. The hen looks at the duck, “My hen! Why are you walking in the water?” That is the duck. Then one day, this eagle was going very lean. It cannot be satisfied with the ordinary church meetings. That chicken can enjoy the church meetings but the duck can't enjoy. But the eagles will not come.
25 One day, one mother eagle came; it put a big noise. This voice came and struck that eagle. It looked like that, “I don't belong to this hen! I belong to that! I have heard my mother's voice!” From that day, the eagle was not happy, because it is a flying bird. When it had big wings, one day the mother came. It flew. It was flying.
26 Like that, many people in us, we are not satisfied with this worldly religions. God put that into you. Some people will like, because wherever - they want to be officers in the church and president in the church and secretary in the church, like that. But some people want peace. So if you are an eagle, you can't be satisfied with all these things. Because God created some people before the foundation of the world. For those people He said, “Call no man father on the earth.” Why? Earthly father is not your father. The hen is not the mother of this eagle. It only hatched it. But the eagle is the mother of this eaglet.
27 So God said, “I am your Father; I created you before the foundation of the world; so don't touch the earth, I will take you one day!” That is why some people are worldly, some people are heavenly.
28 If I wanted money, I could have joined some American church. One man said, “I'll give you fifty thousand every month.” I nearly - I became, you know fainted. “Fifty thousand? - Aang.” Today, for one thousand they open their mouth wide. So many people said, I went to the big leaders, “Bro. Lawrie, you are our man!” - “I am God's man, not your man.” So nobody would help me. When I came back to India, I became very fat, because I get very good food there. I came to India, my wife looked at me, “Who are you?” - “Hey, you don't know me?” - “So big? My husband is a small man, you are like a giant.” - “Tell me your husbands name.” - “Paulaseer Lawrie.” - “I am that Lawrie.” - “Oh, you have become big now?” I said, “Give me the taxi money.” - “You are coming from America, you want taxi fare?” - “I am an eagle, I can't get chicken food, so I came back.”
29 So like that my people, everybody in this world have problems. You think your problem is the best. But other people's problem is worse than your's. Your duty is to solve your problems.
30 In our country as far as bhakthi is concerned, they are all right. You can't beat any Hindu in bhakthi. But our culture is a great culture. You go to foreign countries, there is no love between husband and wife. The husband will marry you and leave the next day. They will go on leaving their wives. And the wives also will be going on with other people. But our culture, the women are very loyal to their husbands. That is why the children trained in India are superior to other countries. The other countries' women should bow to our Indian women. Even their dress is good.
31 One man was telling me, “Why your Indian ladies are covering the whole body with saree? We can't see any part of their body. How can we marry them?” I told them, “Our women will not show anything to you before marriage.” ...Don't take the bad things. But when you are in India, if I take foreign money and do something against India, I am a cut throat of India. So I was not willing to sell India to any country.
32 Why the Christians hate me? Because the foreigners there tell them, they give the money to attack me. Every man in South India was paid five hundred rupees for a month to attack me. One man was staying in Madras giving this money. But today I am very happy, because God has opened my understanding. I am very happy today that God has given me power to reach the other people. That is why I am coming to you, not to take you to another religion, not to make you a Christian; but I want to give the peace which God has given to me, to you. I don't ask money for that. Because once you get the peace, then you will know who I am. Till then you won't know that. Then you will know: God has come very near to you! Because this is the time for God to touch everybody.
33 The Hindus in India, who did not bow to Muslims and British, are a special people. Why? Because they did not go anything for money or fame. God calls them ‘big fishes’. Because through you, God is going to make a new India; not this divided India. Two thousand years everybody is scattered. Now God wants to gather you. So let us unite to build a new India, going above all these religions! Our duty is to touch the great God! No man has seen God at any time. He is a Spirit. He is everywhere. He is in every creature. Everything which has life is God's. That is ‘Sath’. Then there is stones, then this is ‘Asath’. Because these stones, even inside He can go.
34 Today people cannot find life. Scientists are trying to find out life. All these Rhisis4, they say, “We can make you live without death.” But no scientist can find out life. Because this life doesn't come through the knowledge of the scientist. Because this life is the Light of God. The darkness cannot find out this light. Any darkness can catch a shadow of the light. These shadows can catch the light. But the Light of Life, no shadow can catch it. Without the darkness knowing it, it will travel. That comes directly from the First Born, that is to say, from Narayana. That comes straightly from Him. When it comes to you, you get that joy. But other people cannot find out. That is why I say: Open your heart wide and get the power!
35 Those days you had to go and join some church. But now it is not necessary. If you open your heart,... That's why God said, “Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears My voice and opens the heart, I will come into him and sup with him and he with Me!” My dear brothers and sisters, your heart is the door to God! Somebody is knocking. Do you know who is knocking? If you know who is knocking, immediately you open the heart! You must hear his voice. He said, “I am knocking at the door.”
36 One day in a house, a mother was living. She had a nice daughter. One day the house caught fire. So she was shouting and the child could not be saved. At this time, one beautiful man ran and took the baby, put in the blanket and rushed out. But the flame caught him and his face was burnt and he became like a monkey. He saved the child and fell down there. He was taken to the hospital and he became like a monkey. After about two years, this child grew to be a beautiful girl. So this man was out of the hospital. He went and knocked at the door. As she opened, this beautiful girl was two years, and this man laughed. So this girl closed the door, “Mummy, a monkey is looking, a monkey is knocking the door.” So the mother came, “May be that man!” As she opened the door, she saw the man who suffered for this girl, standing there. “Come dear, sit in the chair.” So the daughter said, “Why did you call the monkey into the room?” And the mother said, “Oh girl, when you were a small girl, our house caught fire. At this time this man saved you. Because of your beautiful face he got this monkey face. Did you close the door for this man? Don't you see his face? Your beautiful face came of him.” Then the girl fell at his feet and she cried, “Mother, what a dirty girl I am. Now I know who he is.” And went to him and kissed his monkey face. That man was very happy. Suppose they didn't recognize him, it will break his heart.
37 So today, brothers and sisters, whoever you are, God knocks at your door! God knocks at your door! Do you hear His voice?! If you hear His voice, do you know who is knocking?! The very Creator has come down to see you. Why? Because He wanted to know who will give his heart. You may be a very bad man, you may be a drunkard, he is not worried about that! He wants your love! That is why He is knocking. And as He knocks you hear His voice. Open your heart! He wants to come into you and have fellowship with you, eat with you. Are you closing the door to Him?! Can you imagine what a great sin it is to close the door?!
38 Today, Christianity is not correct. You know, they preach something which will not be a blessing to anybody. They say something, they will say, “Jesus died for us.” If He died for you, why should you die? When I asked that question - “He died for us, we also die.” Then I said, “Don't tell that He died for you. If He died for your sickness, you can't have any sickness any more.” That is why, when Jesus rose again, they did not see the same Jesus. When you put a seed into the ground, you don't see the seed again. Instead of that hundreds of seeds come. So that,...
39 Today we have karma. Many kinds of karma. It is coming like a river and we are to go on in that. So the usual belief is, you have to take seven births. But whatever it is, unless you cross the rebirth, it will be a problem for you.
40 So today, there's a story in the Hinduism, that God took the poison of the gods and He swallowed it and He got that name 'Neelakandan'. So God only can take your karma. No human being can take. When he himself is having karma, how can he take karma away? Today many people go to a priest, they confess their sins. He is a sinner, how can you confess your sins to him? Why do you want to tell your sins to him? Tell your sins to God. Then He will forgive it.
41 Today you must know what forgiveness is. If you don't get forgiveness, you won't have a clean heart. There was a man who was a butler. So he wanted somebody to help him, so the manager gave a small boy. And this small boy had a catapult. He killed a duck and he buried it. This the butler saw. Then slowly when he came, “Ahaaa, you killed the duck, you buried it! I know it.” Then the next day: “Hey, wash my clothes!” - “I don't want to wash your clothes.” - “I will tell about the duck to the manager.” Then he was washing his clothes. Next day: “Get me five buckets of water!” - “I can't take water.” - “Duck.” - “All right.” Then like that he became a virtual servant for that butler. And he said, “Tomorrow ten buckets of water!” - “No.” - “Duck.” Then next day, “You go ten miles, give this letter and come!” - “No.” - “Duck.” So he didn't know what to do.
42 Like that we also have so many sins in us. Every time we go for prarthana5, the devil will say, 'Duck'. Then we have no faith to pray. So one day a friend came, he told this fellow, “Why are you like this?” He said, “I killed a duck. I buried it. This butler knew that. Every time he is saying 'duck, duck, duck', I feel my whole heart is breaking.” Then this man told, “Tomorrow is the birthday of the manager. You go there, wish him and tell him that you killed the duck and he will forgive it.” So he told the manager, “Manager, I killed your duck, forgive me. If you want, you can deduct it from my salary.” - “Don't worry.” Then he came. “Get me ten buckets of water.” - “No.” - “Duck.” - “Come on, we will go.” - “Come to the manager! We will tell about the duck to him.” He went: “Manager, this fellow killed our duck!” - “It's all right. I have forgiven him.” Then this fellow turned and did like that. (Bro. Lawrie makes a gesture.) He had no power. So confession has got such power.
43 One day I told all my sins. In my office I stole so many papers, envelopes, typewriters. I was having it in my home. Every time I pray: 'typewriter, typewriter, typewriter', it will come. Then it will say: 'envelopes, envelopes'. I can't pray. So one day I took a big bag, put all these things there, carried to my hospital, “Sir, this is all for you.” - “You stole this? Hey, I am also stealing. Why do you bring it here?” - “Every time I pray, it is telling like 'duck, duck'.” When I gave this, I had such a peace. Then the peace was very great. But some people, they have no confidence. But they don't tell their sins to God. Then you will find God's peace comes to you. We make mistakes.
44 Some times, people come. “Bro. Lawrie, I am sexually bad, can you pray for me?” So I told him, “Sometimes you get hungry. Is it a sin to get hungry? Do you want me pray for your hunger? That is, God put that in you. This sex also God put in you. If you have eyes, you will seek beautiful things.”
45 But there was a Pentecostal man. He won't look at any ladies - 'Praise the Lord'. So I thought, this is a great saint. And I couldn't believe, because my eyes are looking for beautiful things. Suppose a beautiful girl comes, God wants us to appreciate beauty. ‘That's a beautiful girl, what a beautiful girl you created Lord!’ But this man will always close his eyes. So I thought, this must be a saint. One day we were going for a walk. There was a beautiful girl coming. He was like this. (Bro. Lawrie shows a gesture like the man closing his eyes.) When she passed away, he slowly turned like this. I caught him by the neck. “Hey, you are closing there your eyes, now why your neck is turning like this?” - “Brother Lawrie, you are always trying to create trouble for me.” - “Why didn't you close your eyes now?” - “I just wanted to look at her because she is beautiful, but you caught me. I am always like that.” - “So hereafter don't close your eyes. Look at everything.”
46 We try to control our energy. In India we control our energy and the energy breaks in some other direction. In other countries, man marries man. In India, woman marries a man. In some countries, man marries man. They go like husband and wife. But it is called ‘Christian country’. Don't do all these things. Don't imitate the bad things, imitate good things. So today, if you go round the world...
47 One a day a lady was showing all the stomach, back and everything. So I met her. “Sister, don't you get clothes here, because you have no clothes? In India we have lot of clothes. If you had told me, I would have brought enough clothes. But why this is like this and everything can be seen?” - “This is our fashion.” Today if you imitate that fashion... And our women also showing the stomach, and the back they want to show, stomach also they want to show. Why do you want to show your stomach, if your face is beautiful? If you are really beautiful, then don't show the stomach. Ugly people only want to show the stomach. Don't imitate bad things. Our early culture is a wonderful culture. That's a Hindu culture. Don't follow this Christian culture - Woman, don't follow that. Follow the Hindu culture - women if you follow, you will be safe.
48 So today, we are coming to God. How to find Him? Now in the morning what do the women do? Straight go to the kitchen, 'foo, foo, foo', blowing the fire. That is the way you don't get any blessings. Now, that day we told 'Hallelujah'. Hallelujah is not a Christian word. Even some Hindu books they call ‘Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelu’, like that. Jothi Ramalinga Swamigal, he said there is power in praising. Why we praise God? We praise like this: ‘God, thank you for giving me good husband.’ But your heart beat, it goes 'tuck, tuck, tuck, tuck, tuck... like this.' If one ‘tuck’ stops, you die. So you have to thank God for every heart beat. So ‘Hallelujah’ means, it is in every language for praising God, that is the language.
49 One day, I was going to Holland. A man wanted to meet me. I never seen him before, he never saw me. I don't know his language. As I came out of the station, hundreds of people are there. I don't know who is that. Suddenly I said 'Hallelujah'. That man said, “Yea, our man is there!” Because in every language, Japan language, every language, praising God is ‘Hallelujah’. So you can say 'sthuthi', you can say ‘Praise God’, 'Thothiram' you can say in any language. But because this is the only language, in every language, this is the only thing for praising God. We started praising Him.
50 Get up in the morning, have a bhajan6, then you see the power coming into your life. But if you go to the kitchen and say 'foo, foo, foo', your life also will go like that. Wake up your husband, wake up your children, for half an hour praise Him! Praise Him for His goodness! Power of God comes into your life! That is why, any praising family will find out God very soon. That is why people like Sai Baba and other people, they have Bhajans. What for? Early morning you go in the street, they will have Bhajans. Praising God! That we have to learn! Whether you are a Christian, or a Muslim or a Hindu, you must thank God in the morning.
51 In seven days in a week, one day you have to take rest. The Muslims have Friday rest and the Hindus have Saturday rest, the Christians have Sunday rest. Who is correct? I remember when I was a small boy, my mother will pour oil on my face, give oil to drink, put all over the body, everything. Two hours we have to be in the sun, all of us. Then she will say, “Go and take a bath.” And she'll say, “Don't go out, because of Saturn's influence. You must stay in the house till 6 o' clock.” For that she will give us good food. And God blessed only the seventh day. Other days God never blessed. But the religion, to separate them, they had each another day.
52 See the temples of the Hindus. According to the Bible only they do the temples. The Christian temples are not according to the Bible. If you see the Bible, there's an outer, holy place, holy of holies - moolasthanam7. The gate is only in the East. So you do what the Bible says. But the Christians never do that. How can God be with them?
53 Today they say, every Hindu is an idol worshipper. But who is the idol worshipper today? See the Catholic churches, all images! They all join together. But today, it is the human being they are worshipping. But these are thathuvams8 I say. So you are not far away from the kingdom of God. You can get God very close.
54 You know one man was asking me, “What is your symbol? Is it the cross?” You know, Jesus was killed on the cross. Suppose my loved brother was killed by a knife, what will I do? Will I take that knife and frame it and say, ‘This is the knife which killed my brother’? The knife should be in the hands of the murderers. I love my brother who died, I put a photograph of him. But today, what are the Christians doing? They are hanging the cross which is a weapon of the murderer. But they don't love Christ who died! For us, that blood is precious. For the dead Christians the cross is precious; just to say, “We are also murderers.”
55 My dear friends, for us six pointed star is our sign. You may say, why? You may say, “It's a Vishnu chakram.” It is the star of David. It shows, once we were in a very good position, forgetting God, we came down. Wherever the six pointed stars are there, it only means: Once you were a royal family. But you have fallen down.
56 My dear Hindus! You have a symbol to prove, that once you were great! I want you to come to that position, so that we can build a new India! Not this fighting India, not this backsliding India, not this divided India; but united India! Then we can teach the whole world the truth!
57 If you don't come to the truth, how can you teach the world the truth? So for that, you must have the Spirit of God. How to get the Spirit? You have to get the Spirit to touch God. Word coming from the mouth is truth. Now it may be Krishna, but it was Narayana in Krishna. What He told was truth. But tell me who is learning Bhagavad Gita properly? I have read the Bhagavad Gita many times.
58 Today many Hindus, they do not know what is there in the Bhagavad Gita. You go and read it and then that will change you! Muslims, they don't read Koran. They have a religion, but not according to Koran. Prophet Mohammad was a great man. He pointed the way for this people. How many people read the Koran?
59 Today, Christians, they never know the Bible. If you know the Bible, it answers every question. But they never read it. But they will take the Bible and say, “We are Christians.” You don't become Christian like that. So let us forget our differences. Study the word brought to us by God. If you can't read, you ask the people to read it. You read Bhagavad Gita, you read Koran, you read Bible and find, all these things will tell the same thing. They never tell you bad things. Christians will say, 'Our Bible'. Muslims will says, 'Our Koran'. But others will say, 'Our Bhagavad Gita'. But these three was only dictated by only one God. How can He contradict? This revelation, it has to come to people. (Cassette change.)
60 ...Danger has not left you. For you, the safety is not in any sect. Why? The safety is in your avatar coming. He'll have to explain to the truth.
61 So there are many people. But the avatar will be vindicated by Narayana. If I am sent by God, God will tell me that He sent me. That is why the miracles happen. When I pray a common prayer, if God doesn't do greater than all the people, God has not sent me. So if you have a sickness, this ministry will prove. That is why I am telling you, if you have an incurable disease, there is no incurable with God. You may say 'cancer'. But you must understand, cancer can dry up in one day.
62 When Jesus cursed a fig tree, it dried from the roots. But the leaves were green. But His disciples said, “Why it has not dried up yet?” Because his faith was on the leaves. If your faith was on the root, it died that very day. When I pray to God for your cancer, it dies that day. It may take one or two days for to dry it up; but that disease is gone. Suppose there is a thing which you can't believe, you may say, “This eye is spoilt eye, can God give this?” If a car is repaired, some part is useless, then you can get a new part for that. If you can do that to a car, don't you think God can give you a new eye today?
63 One day in Madras, a fellow came, his eye was all white. Many people were there. So when I prayed, that fellow jumped - “I can see!” Suddenly the eye opened from inside. And then, he was able to read everything. So God is not an ordinary God we have. He is your Creator! He can bless you today. Not only He can give you peace; if you are separated, if your husband has left you, He can bring him today. If you have no job, He can give the job today.
64 My dear friends, today, many people are without jobs. Don't lose hope. If you seek God, you will get a job. God doesn't want you to starve. He is a good God. Don't blame God for anything. Forty years I have tasted Him. Always He is doing good. Many times, I thought God was a bad God. But always He came to rescue us.
65 Today, man cannot understand God. When God called me, He asked me to leave the job and go. So I told God, “I belong to a good family, I can't go to house begging. Unless you give me regularly help, I can't do your work. I won't go and ask people.” Then He laughed at me and said, “My son, go! Whenever you think, I'll get you your needs.” Forty years now, more than that! My wife and I started this ministry at that time. All her jewellery we sold, all my property I sold to find out God. Then we had nothing.
66 One day - fourteen days we had nothing to eat. We were starving. So my wife was sick. No money to give to the doctor. And all - children were starving. I tore all my certificates. That night, my son was a small boy. At 12 o' clock, he opened his mouth and was singing with a rough - song, like a man. “Jesus never fails, Jesus never fails, Heaven and earth will pass away, but Jesus never fails.” My wife and I looked at my son. It was not him speaking, God speaking through him. From that day, till now, every moment our needs are met!
67 God is a good God! Look at the sun. It is not connected to anything but it is hanging. Look at the moon, it is just rotating. Who is pouring petrol into the sun, but still it is burning, so that it will give light for you. God who gives light for you, God who gives moon light for you, God who gives air for you, everything free. Don't you think God will give you healing free today? Believe on God!! There's a God today! He is a living God! He loves you, He cares for you! Don't think because you can't see, there is no God! We have seen Him. He has been very close to us.
68 One day I was going in the plane in Venezuela. Suddenly the plane went into the sea. We thought we were dead. My friend and I were in the top. Then I said,... The people came and saved us. Many dangers, God protected us from everything.
69 In your life many dangers came to you. God saved you. Have you not given your heart to God? Many times you have been saved from dangers, many times in accidents. You would have died long ago. But today, you are living for God.
70 So my brothers and sisters, in the last day of this meetings, I plead with you!! Love everybody! Take hatred out of you! If you take hatred out of you, 90% of your sickness will go today! If you have hatred that will bring sickness to you! Forget your community feelings. Don't call people high caste and low caste. There is only two castes - God's caste and world's caste, God's people and devil's people. Why? Those who have God, they are God's people. Those who have devil, are the devil's people. If an ordinary low caste man is having God, he is a high caste man. If you don't have God, then that means you are a low caste. Today, become a high caste man! Be filled with the power of God!
71 As I pray for you, be filled with the power of God and go home peacefully! And after that, follow God! I want you to promise one thing: Never join a Christian denomination! That will kill you! They have joined with idol worshippers! Get away from them! Seek God alone!
72 Now the husband - wife, if the wife is loving the husband, they have friendship. But if the wife is loving another man, she can't hear the voice of the husband. The husband will get angry. She is doing adultery. So all these denominations are separating you from God! That is why, I warn you as brothers:
73 If anybody is touched by God, be an Indian and follow God! Be in your room praying to God, you will hear the voice of God! I have heard the voice of God. Many times, when he called me, He called me like a man.
74 And today, I know there is One to support me! That is why I am talking fearlessly. I don't care for anybody in this earth, because I am not alone. I am supported by God's power. Even the whole country, I am not afraid! Why I am telling this, you must have God in your life. But don't get into some slavery. You are a free being.
75 Be free in God and don't be bound by any religion. In your home, you ask God, “If you are living today, I want to hear Your voice.” Then you will hear His voice. That is more than 10,000 going to temples. He will talk to you! If you are a that Hindu who have not become Muslim, you are Hindu all these years, because your forefathers were strong, if you pray to Him - if you pray to God to show you who I am, He will show to you, because I am come for you! Come out marching! Then we will make our new India!
76 Don't think this ministry is an ordinary ministry. Because many people in the Western countries are accepting this. In Malaya, Burma, it has spread out very much. Now it is moving in India. This stone will shatter every opposition and will spread and become a big mountain all over the earth. So before that, God has met you today. Let us pray. Let everybody get up. (The song 'Heavenly Father is calling you' is sung.)
77 Let every eye close. Every eye closed for a minute. Turn your thoughts to God. Put your problems before God. God can heal you where you are standing. If you are sick in body, put your right hand on the sick part of your body. If you have no peace, put your right hand on the heart and ask God to come in and give you peace. And God surely will heal you today. I could feel His presence in a terrible way today. And if you have any loved ones far away, think about them now, God will bless them. If you have no job, God can give you a job today. If you are a widow, God can help you. If you are an orphan, God is for you. Every problem God can solve. He is not a respecter of any person. Don't call yourself poor, because God is for you.
78 So as I pray, I want you to close your eyes. And tell this prayer after me. And then believe after my prayer, and praise our Creator. As you praise, you will see the power of God fill you all. Because in our meetings, when they praise God, without your knowledge miracles happen. So open your mouth wide and praise Him.
79 Tell this prayer after me. 'Our loving God, our Creator, we come to you today. We are sorry for our sins. We love you. We want You to come into our lives. Your light should shine in our hearts. We promise before God, that we will not join any Christian denominations, because they have joined with idol worshippers. We are awaiting for You, God. We believe that You have come down. We love You. Now heal our bodies. Fill us with Thy divine power. We promise to love You and serve You all our lives. In the new name of the Lord.
80 Now I am going to pray for you. This is the time miracles happen. Expect a miracle today. Let us pray. Loving Saviour. Don't tell it after me. I'll pray:
81 Loving Father, I pray that You will heal these people. Thank You for Your giving us Your name. I command every sickness to get out of the bodies. Every demon power I cast out in the new Name. Lord, heal their bodies. Every cancer and every TB, and every incurable disease, come out of them right now! Every diabetes, every heart trouble, get out of their bodies. Lord, bless them Lord. Lord heal their bodies. Lord heal - there is a leper brother, heal him Lord! Lord, bless the families. Bless everybody who has come here. Lord, as I pray, fill them!! Fill them with the power of God!! Cast every disease. Lord, fill them with Thy power!! Thank you Jesus.
82 Let us praise God. Every hand up. Praise God. Sthothram! Hallelujah! Sthothram! Sthothram! Sthothram! Sthothram! Hallelujah! Sthothram! Sthothram! Sthothram! Sthothram! Sthothram! Fill them Lord with the power of God! Heal them Lord! Fill them Lord with the power of God! Cast every disease! Perform miracles Lord! Vindicate Thy servant, Lord! Give them new limbs Lord! Give them new eyes Lord! Fill them with the Spirit of God! Fill them with the Holy Ghost! Lord, heal them Lord! Every demon get out! Come out of their bodies!! Every devil get out of their bodies! Every witchcraft break!! Lord heal!! Lord heal!! Lord heal them Lord!! My God, heal them!! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Jesus! Hallelujah!
